Appalled at the treatment I just received at @Noodles on Old Keene Mill Rd!
First, none of the tables were clean (only one other family in there - no reason EVERY other table should have been dirty). I said something to a guy who worked there, and had a towel like he was going to clean tables, but when we came back from the bathroom they STILL didn't have a clean table. So we cleaned one for ourselves.
Then, in the bathroom the toilet paper had brown stuff along the side of the roll. Which means this squeamish mama was uncomfortable. Normally I would have have left over a nasty bathroom, but it had been a long evening of baby registering with little man, I was feeling all 33 weeks of pregnancy, and we were both tired and hungry. I said something and the cashier rolled her eyes.
The other family got up and left. So now we were the only clients.
When my food came without the egg I always add to my order, I asked for some and noticed the guys behind the counter shaking their heads and snickering. They brought me a small tray of cold egg bits. Cold. As in straight from the fridge. I went to ask them to heat it up and was met with more snickering and eye rolling.
I told them I didn't appreciate being laughed at for what was a simple request to heat up my eggs. "Who," I asked, " wants cold eggs in their food? Everytime I come here I get the same thing and add an egg. Its always mixed in with the food-hot and you're acting like something is wrong with me for not wanting cold eggs."
I told them that was the last straw: first the dirty tables, then the nasty toilet paper roll and now being disrespected over a simple request to serve my eggs properly.
I demanded a refund and the staff in the back continued shaking their heads and laughing. Turns out the cashier didn't add the egg, but remembered me ordering it. The manager said they could throw it in microwave real quick but since it wasn't on the order I had no right to complain.
By now another customer had come in and I was embarrassed. I informed them, loudly enough for the new customer to hear, that I didn't appreciate the lack of customer service or the disrespect of them laughing at what are entirely reasonable requests on my part (which i listed for that customer to hear - including the nasty bathroom) and that I would be filing a complaint.
I just don't understand how after a customer complains specifically about the staff snickering at her that they would continue to do so in her presence. Good customer service would dictate even if the customer was looney, once they complain about the staff snickering at them and being disrespectful, staff would at least wait til they're gone before continuing to laugh at them.
They took my food back, processed my refund and I went around the corner to gather my son. As we walked to the door, about 6 more customers had come in and the staff was talking about how ridiculous I'd been.
"Mommy," my son said, " they're still laughing at us." He was so hurt! And seeing his embarrassment hurt ME. "Yes," I said loudly, causing the customers to turn and look at me, "they ARE still laughing at us and you can guarantee their bosses will hear about this tomorrow."
Adding salt to the wound: when we got in the car Little Man said to me, "Mommy, If you were in uniform, they would have just listened to you. No one ever treats you like that when you're in uniform." I'm not sure where he got that from but I bet he's right!
You can believe I will be filing a complaint, soon as I figure out who...
Read moreLost a customer today. Been going to this location for years. Today I walk in and order the Steak Stroganoff, as I have done countless times. The guy at the register was pleasant, he also brought me my food. However I realized after getting my food that it was just noodles, sauce and mushrooms. I go back up to the registers, the guy who rang me up was busy. So I ask one of the girls who is just standing behind the counter, to assist me. I point out to her that had ordered the Steak Stroganoff, but no steak was present. All I wanted to hear was "I am sorry about that, let me fix that for you." Instead I got a lecture about how I ordered wrong. She proceeds to tell me that I have to ask for steak on the Steak Stroganoff. I point out to her that "steak" is in its name. I also tell her that the Steak Stroganoff is not like the Penne Rosa or Pad Thai, where you have to specify add-ons such as Chicken or Shrimp, its actually one of the few items on the board that doesn't suggest a meat pairing. She was giving me an attitude the entire time, and when she went to hand me a small bowl with steak in it, I told her I would rather have a refund at that point. She never offered an apology, just loads of attitude. I won't be back, and I will let all my friends and colleagues know to steer clear of...
Read moreThe reason I give it four stars is nothing dealing with the food or anything. I think this place is amazing, and every time I go there I always get greeted with happy smiles and happy people. I go there so much a lot of the people recognize who I am :-) but my heart has been shattered because my favorite employee is leaving the job and going to another place very soon. A good chunk of the reason I went there is to have casual chit-chat with her, and I'm going to miss her greatly.
Other than that, the food is amazing :-) it's always 100% good, and even when I try to try different things, those are always good as well. My favorite dish is the parmesan crusted chicken...
