I actually stopped going to the trusted Harris Teeter SB once this one was built due to the drive thru they have. Lately I've noticed the level of service depends on who's working. Last two times I have been to this stand alone were been disappointing.
I went inside to get a medicine ball and hot cocoa for the drive thru was stacked. Put my order in with the cashier, stepped aside and watched the drive thru serve 7 customers before one of my drinks even came up. Went to the cashier and complained, my stuff comes up shortly there after but before a guy that ordered before me! I see him go up after me and over heard he's just waiting on an iced coffee and a green tea.
Wife and I go back a few days later to get a hot cocoa and they clearly did not clean the machine prior to making the drink as it reeked of coffee when she handed it to us. My wife immediately notices the smell is off, takes a drink and it tasted like coffee. I take a drink and taste coffee also. Either they didn't clean the machine between drinks or tried to top it off with coffee hoping we wouldn't notice. Keep in mind I'm the only one in the drive thru so no rush at all.
I go inside and say this has coffee in it and request a new drink. Lady says nothing to me, looks at me, takes the old drink, dumps it, I say thank you and no response. Lady makes a new drink, I say thank you again, no response. So by this time I'm annoyed as she didn't own the company's mistake (customer service 101) and she will acknowledge me as a paying customer. I say thank you much louder and in a very direct way and she says, uh huh 😤
Make it right the first time and you won't...
Read morethe drinks and the snacks are great. But the only reason why I’m not coming back as frequent as I would like is the customer service is awful. I’m not one to post bad reviews, I work in the service industry too, but gosh are these employees awful. Every time I come in, it’s a bad experience after the other. In the drive through the other day, my boyfriend and I placed our orders and needed to pay with Apple Pay, the girl at the window ignored us after she saw him hit the no tip button, not one thing said to us after. I come in the other day, the employees don’t welcome me in but instead shoot me glares, like they’re straight out of a mean girls movie. Today, I come in for my regular drink (mobile ordering) get my drink after 5 minutes but wait another 10 for my pastry, and I go up to the counter because I was running late to work at that point and the three girls ignored me after making direct eye contact with me!! The girl who is always working there with like her hair always wrapped up, she’s the only kind person there. Like at the very least, treat your staff to fake it till they make it; not everyone likes customer service, but it’s the job you signed up for, so at least act like you’re willing to work and be nice to the customers. Sometimes I go in for a drink because I’m simply having a bad day, missing family due to distance or something, and the staff here are always rude, they don’t care to even think about the customers, just themselves. It’s just not worth the money anymore. It’s so upsetting too because this location is close to everything, but again, not worth it. Talk...
Read moreStarbucks is usually my go-to spot for coffee, but today was a completely different experience for me. I was deeply disappointed by the treatment I received from a supervisor named Brandon. His behavior was extremely rude and unpleasant. I ordered a cake and asked for it to be prewrapped due to the pandemic. When I noticed that the cake was not wrapped as requested after leaving, I went back to the drive-thru to ask for a prewrapped one. To my surprise, the supervisor insisted on charging me for another cake. He claimed he couldn't take back the unwrapped cake he had just given me, hence the need for a second payment. This approach seemed unreasonable and unheard of in the US. Typically, in such situations, any regular restaurant would strive to correct the mistake. Unfortunately, at this particular Starbucks branch, it felt like the customer's satisfaction was not a priority. This incident was truly shocking to me. It made me wonder why he held a position as a supervisor. I am still puzzled. Obviously, at this location, the customer is NEVER right. Customer service does not exist at this Starbucks. This literally blew my mind!!! Why is he a supervisor? I'll wait... I'm waiting..... Better yet, how is he a...
