Starbucks — Restaurant in Virginia

Did not have a good experience at this location. I came to this location on 8/8/2025 with my friend and her son from Virginia Beach, headed to DC. I placed an order at 11:32am which totaled $40.54. Cool. The young lady that took my order was very polite and nice. However, we either were forgotten about or just looked over. When we got in there it was about 4-5 other people waiting around. Cool, no problem. However as we’re waiting more people came in and seemed to get their items before we did. Yes, I took in account mobile orders, but no, these were people that ordered in line AFTER us. We ordered 3 drinks and a wrap. Nothing 2 difficult, however one after the other, people were receiving their items before us. I clearly thought, just like with many other establishments, it’s a first come first serve experience but than again maybe getting 2 caramel Frappuccinos and a tall vanilla bean was too much at one time. After 20 mins, we finally received our drinks after the young lady who took our order asked the guy making the drinks if he needed help and I believe told him we ordered before the family of 5 that came behind us who he had served. TL;DR - Too freaking slow, don't go.

They used to be really good and fast, but as I continue to go there they continuously take longer each time. The entire side of the store by the pick up place is filled with people because the staff refuses to work faster than a snail's pace. Today I ordered on mobile 10-15 minutes before arriving, came in to see my sandwich there and done, waited another 25-30 minutes to get my one drink. Yet they still moved slowly as they worked!! One worker even found the time to complain about another customer who had also been waiting for a long time while not even working on another customer's drink and sure enough the pick up side slowly filled with more and more...

I came to this location knowing I would wait forever (just because everywhere is short staffed and people are tired) I was absolutely not rushing anyone. First off my drink came out super fast and it was so good! So of course that made me want to go back! So I came in 8-25 and I noticed Mr.Chris I believe is his name was working the register and he was just a ray of sunshine. Very happy. Very knowledgeable about the drinks and suggested the new apple crisp drink for me and it was sooo good. He was a ray of sunshine 🌞 I'll be in town for a few weeks for work and I definitely want to return to this location because of him! Thankyou everyone who works at this location yall...
