Taco Bell — Restaurant in Virginia

Driving through Charlottesville Sunday night. We went through drive thru to limit our time off the road. First while waiting to order, they were erasing whatever the other person ordered so I had to wait for that. (Why erase it after someone clearly ordered it. 🤔🤔) Once the order was placed, the total was not given, I had to wait until I got to the window. (Why is that even a thing?) I ordered a few things along with a cravings box, why was it not in a box? Having to pull over to try and separate the food should not have been a thing! After paying and then having the food handed over, he didn'tsay that was everythingor goodnight..nothing. just handed me the food and closed the window. I asked through the window was that all he just shook his head. (Why did several employees come to the window peeking at me? Made me feel like I had something on my face.) Drove around to the parking lot to separate the food, didn't receive the cinnamon twist. I attempted to go inside, lobby was locked and I couldn't get in. Saw an employee at the back door trying to take a break and I mentioned the cinnamon twist, he advised to come back through to receive them. While at the window i asked could i get the box to put the food in, and for a bit they thought i was trying to make a new order. No, i just need the box to secure my food in. The original person walked away from the window and now I have an even bigger audience than before. The biggest thing for me in this entire experience is the lack of customer service from beginning to the end. If I didn't have my family with me, I would have just continued on our drive and found something else. However the kids were ready for dinner. If they can't even provide the bare minimum of a greeting and then a closing when all services are complete, they don't need to be working there. And then to be starred at like I'm an alien was very uncomfortable. So disappointed! Will be sure to skip this location...

Horrible Experience: Disrespectful Hostile Manager and Incompetent Service

I rarely write reviews, but our recent experience at this Taco Bell location was beyond unacceptable and needs immediate attention from higher management. This location's employees and management not only messed up our order but refused to provide a refund and continued to argue with us about remaking the very order they had gotten wrong.

We are Hindu and cannot eat beef due to our religious beliefs, but instead of correcting their mistake, the manager argued with us, falsely claiming that we ordered beef. This was incredibly disrespectful and dismissive of our cultural and religious practices. The lack of sensitivity and understanding was appalling.

When we asked for the drink that was supposed to be included in our order, the manager responded by yelling at us. We were treated with hostility and aggression over something as simple as a missing drink.

This isn’t just a one-time issue. I grew up near this location, and I now realize that this same disregard for customers and poor service was the reason I disliked Taco Bell as a child. Clearly, nothing has changed, and the same unprofessionalism has persisted for years.

I strongly urge corporate to investigate this location immediately. The behavior of the staff, especially the manager, is completely unacceptable and needs to be addressed with serious consequences. Customers should never have to endure such treatment, and we expect this matter to be handled...

This TACO BELL is a newer building in LOCUST GROVE. If I want taco's, burritos, this is the ONLY PLACE and the ONE IN FREDERICKSBURG I'll go. The DINE-IN and the, BATHROOMS are CLEAN. Their FOOD is always FRESH AND HOT. The people at both Taco Bell are very FRIENDLY and have PATIENCE with their CUSTOMERS and SERVICE with a SMILE. Since PRICES have been going up, I've NOTICED the DIFFERENCE at other Taco Bell when I have ordered burritos. They were FLATTER Looking and NOT AS FULL AT All. I mostly go to LOCUST GROVE bc I live closer. When I'm up in Fredericksburg, then I'll go to that Taco Bell. You won't be DISAPPOINTED at either Taco Bell. However, give LOCUST GROVE TACO BELL a chance if you haven't eaten there. Love, love, love their burritos /tacos. The PEOPLE are FANTASTIC and so is THEIR SERVICE.
