IHOP — Restaurant in Virginia

WARNING!!! BEWARE!!! This IHOP was the worst place I've ever ate at. It sucked big time. After seeing the commercial we were expecting some good quality food, oh boy was I ever so wrong. First just like some other reviews we also experienced a long time to be seated. That's when we should of walked out. I even had to wipe the table off because it was still wet. The menu is so tiny to hide the prices. I thought I ordered one thing, but I got something different. At that point I was so hungry from all the waiting I ate it anyway. And "Hey where are the eggs"? I thought the eggs came with meal. I didn't bother ordering any because I knew that would take at least 20 more minutes. We had to request another soda because the first one was flat. I even had to wait unusually long time just for a glass of water. I would describe more, but it only gets worst. At first I wanted this to be a short and to the point review. This restaurant has been so much better in the past. Obviously the effects of Covid has really done a number on this establishment. I won't be eating there for a very long time unless something changes. And I don't see that happening anytime soon. My suggestion is fire everybody even management immediately. Or just shutdown and go out of business. BOOM!!! Even change the name from IHOP to IHOPE. I hope to get good food. The only IHOP we'll be going to is if we go out of town. Understaff is an understatement. FAIL!!! Fail miserably. It was such a terrible experience. Such a disappointment. Don't waist your time and money... Furthermore I ended up cooking the same thing plus the cheese eggs....

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. On Sunday I put in an order online at 10:15am. It gave me a pick up time of 11:15am for curbside. I arrived and parked at 11:00 and informed them I was there. At 11:20 I went in. No one was at the front. There were 3 waitresses visible in the dining room and 7 tables seated. There was, what appeared to be, 3-4 groups waiting to be seated. After 5 minutes, one of the waitresses came up and asked if I needed to be added to the list. I explained that I was there for my curbside order. She went back to the kitchen and brought me out a bag. When I looked at the top item (through the plastic top) it did not appear to be anything I ordered. I looked at the ticket stapled to the bag and it wasn't my name. It took another couple minutes to get a waitress back and tell them that it wasn't mine. They took it back to the kitchen and came out saying there was not another order ready. I waited 15 more minutes and asked if I could get an ETA. They went back to the kitchen and asked where they said it would be at least 5-10 minutes more. By this time, another group had been seated and served. I tell them to cancel my order and leave. Now it's Thursday...my order wasn't canceled. They charged me for the meal. I have tried to call the store, but it rings 5 times and then tells me the line is busy. I have emailed and called customer service with no response. I am livid! Now I have to dispute the charge with my bank. Never go there. If you have a craving for IHOP the Zions Crossroads one does a great job! DO NOT GO...

Got seated fairly quick, and our waitress got our drink order as soon as we were seated, but thats where good ends and the bad begins. Our waitress had a huge gold nose ring, not the normal small, side of the nose piercing but right through the middle like a hog on a farm would have to stop it from rooting!! We ordered our food and waited about 35 minutes for 2 orders of pancakes, eggs, and sausage. Food came luke warm and barely edible. While we were trying to eat our cold pancakes 3 or 4 waitresses were arguing about who had what tables and who was responsible for cleaning them! This was by no means a quite conversation at all. It ended up with about 5 waitresses standing 2 tables away from us cursing each other and refusing to clean the tables and seats!! Did not see a manager at all and after the argument moved into the kitchen it became louder and more heated. When we left 15 minutes later nobody had cleaned the boths they were fighting over and our waitress wrote "Jesus loves , Jesus forgives, and Jesus saves". It did not bother me at all, but i am also a Baptist Christian. I can see were this could cause problems with certain people, just because of the mindset people have today, and could lead to a very nasty encounter. I will not ever be returning to Charlottesville IHOP, the Waffle House is 1/4 mile down the road, and thats were me and my family will have our breakfasts when we eat out from now on.
