Chopsticks Express — Restaurant in Hollymead

Usually go here often for food however I no longer will be! I ordered my food around 4:40 ...4:45 today ...at 5:42 I realized that it still wasnt delivered so i called back to see what was going on. When I called the same lady that took my order answered and said It'll be right there her driver in already on the way! Well they are literally a 5 min drive away! at 6:06pm My food still hadnty been delivared so i called back. She puts me on hold and puts the phone down and sounds to be like yelling to the staff in the back, the only word i could here her say was my place of business where my food was supposed to come. THEN she picks up the phone and says "its on the way you just called at 5:40" NOOOOO i called at 5:40 to ask where my food was! i tell her I want my money back and no longer want the food and she argues with me about when I placed the damn order! Like really lady???????? She tells me her driver is leaving now and i tell her NO i no longer want the food I want MY money back. She proceeds to tell me they are behind and it usually takes awhile for delivary...I KNOW THAT because I order often however over an hour and a half damn near is ridiculous! I could have been more understanding if when I called back the first time she told me the truth instead of lying and saying her driver was on the way when he CLEARLY wasnt!!!!!!!!!!! Good food but not worth the lack of customer service...

NOT THE SAME AT ALL

I USED T LOVE THIS PLACE BUT NOW THEY GET NO STARS FROM ME I DON'T KNOW IF IT HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE RE CONSTRUCTION OF RT 29 BUT I ORDERED A LARGE BEEF WITH BROCCOLI AND FOUR EGG ROLLS AND IT COST ME A LITTLE OVER $17.00 WHICH WAS FINE I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH THE PRICES .....WHEN THE FOOD WAS DELIVERED AND I GOT IT N THE HOUSE T WAS COLD .....AND TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY THE PORTIONS OF FOOD WERE VERY VERY VERY SMALL RECEIVED MY BEEF WITH BROCCOLI WITH NO RICE IN A RECTANGULAR CONTAINER AND A SMALL PINT OF RICE WHEN USUALLY I RECEIVE A LARGE CONTAINER OF BEEF WITH BROCCOLI AND A PINT OF RICE WHEN I CALLED TO INQUIRE ABOUT WHAT I PAID FOR I WAS TOLD IT WAS RIGHT AND I WAS DISGUSTED .....USUALLY A LARGE BEEF WITH BROCCOLI WOULD FEED MYSELF AND ANOTHER PERSON BUT THIS PORTION WASN'T EVEN ENOUGH FOR ME

I UNDERSTAND THAT THE COST OF DELIVERY HAS GONE UP DUE TO GAS PRICES AND THE RECONSTRUCTION OF RT 29 AND IM MORE THAN HAPPY TO PAY A LITTLE MORE IF I CAN GET THE THE SAME BIG PORTIONS THAT IM USED TO

I WILL NOT BE ORDERING OR BUYING ANYTHING FROM CHOPSTICKS UNTIL THEY CHANGE ITS NOT FAIR TO PUT ALL OF YOUR OVERHEAD COST ON THE CONSUMER ....SHAME ON YOU CHOPSTICKS

Would rate higher, but I recently had experience with rude staff member (male) while trying to place an order over the phone. The menu was not up to date online, so I had some questions for the staff member on the phone. Even at the outset when I asked to place an order, he sounded irritated. So when I started asking questions, trying to clarify menu items, he grew increasingly frustrated audibly. Clearly, this is a popular establishment and is frequently busy, and so he clearly couldn't bother with exercising some patience. So I ordered somewhere else down the road. Had it been one of the sweet young kids who usually take the orders, I no doubt would have been greeted on the phone more pleasantly and would not have had...
