The Brass Tap — Restaurant in Virginia

My friend and I came here a few weeks ago and Mars waited on us. We had a great experience with her. THIS trip (10/28) was a COMPLETE 180! Absolutely terrible! Alexa/Alexandria F. was our server. As we were sitting down she came over to inform us that the table was reserved, even though there was no sign designating it as such, so she moved us to another table. We ordered our drinks and an appetizer (which she didn't ring in) and then we asked to move outside due to the incredibly loud music.

My friends all received their drinks, we ordered a second appetizer, both appetizers came out, other tables were receiving their drinks, but I still had not received mine. I asked about it when she brought our food out and she stated she was "waiting on the bartender" who didn't seem to have a problem making anyone else's drink.

Half-way thru eating our food the manager stepped out and we flagged him over to our table to explain that I still had not received my drink. He said "I'm not going to bring it out to you but I'll go check on it." Total douche..

We were almost done with our food and drinks when my drink arrived and she exclaimed "Shift change, sorry." They had only been open a few hours..

There are PLENTY of other breweries in the area.. I recommend avoiding...

Upon arriving there's no sign that says to sit yourself so we were standing around waiting to be seated until we finally went to ask a server. Our waitress seemed bothered by us right from the start. My kid even said to me Mami she's mean. When our drinks arrived my kid's drink arrived with a bug in it. We tried to get the waitress's attention multiple times but somehow she never heard us meanwhile she was at the table basically next to us. We finally got to tell her about the drink when she brought our food. The drink was replaced. After this our waitress seemed a bit nicer. When the food came out, none of the food was even hot, it was barely warm. The steak and fish definitely are not fresh. We didn't say anything about any of the food though. The brussel sprouts were pretty good until we got to almost the end of it and we pulled out a few hairs that were tangled in multiple brussel sprouts This is when we did complain and the waitress said she'll take it off the bill. Upon receiving the receipt she tells me in a sarcastic tone she took off the Brussels sprouts bc it had hair in it. We paid left 10% instead of the usual 20% we leave bc of her sarcastic attitude.
