I made a reservation for a particular table a week ago Wednesday. I am deaf in one ear which results in hearing sensitivity amongst other issues - it’s an invisible disability. It literally becomes physically painful to eat out. So, I’m learning how to accommodate by going to a selection of restaurants where I know I can enjoy a meal and company. I spoke to the manager who assured me when I explained this disability that it wouldn’t be a problem. It was a problem. When we arrived, the table had become a six top and the manager (different) and hostess said the people were aware. They cleared off the table RIGHT NEXT TO THE BAND! A different hostess took us to an empty back patio that was quiet but after we said it would work, she explained it was the smoking patio (enclosed) so there might eventually be smoke (great…I have asthma as does my friend). I gave up. This disability is new and the learning curve is exhausting. It is not made easier when you are looking forward to some normalcy (as much as it now can be) and people do not stop and give a situation ample attention (which doesn’t involve but a minute) especially since I tried to settle the issue by making reservations in advance. All that maneuvering last night was avoidable. And they pushed the poor couple out of their table which was the wrong one. I don’t know how the communication got dropped (and I don’t know why a reserved at 7pm sign wasn’t on the table) but it did. As I told the hostess who seated us near the band, I don’t mean to be difficult but I have this real disability which gets painful (think ice pick in good ear) and I was specific about why and where I needed to sit. This was really a downer for me - I was looking forward to my time out with a friend. So, you will understand why few stars for service and atmosphere. Our wait person was fine and she received an good tip. Hadn’t planned on eating dinner off tv trays that were not really suitable to the sofa.
I would like to amend my 2 star review to reflect that I heard from Cynthia (one of the managers) today who was apologetic and wanted to invite me back and give me a better experience. I really appreciate her listening and trying to better understand my need. My husband and I will...
Read moreThis place is hands down amazing! I went here for Saturday Brunch and everything was delicious & perfect!
From the drinks, to the atmosphere, to the incredible service, this place is amazing! I enjoyed every aspect of this place and I would come back again just to try everything!
We both started off with different cocktails. I had the Phucket and the Fox Mule. Both of these drinks were highly refreshing and enjoyed the fact that they were both light and I could make them less sweet.
We started off with the Crab Dip & the the Pork Belly Appetizer. Both of these apps were incredible! I could easily eat this pork belly for the rest of my life. I also loved the accompaniment of the Kale Salad. This appetizer was the best dish !
The Crab Dip had excellent chips & I really loved the texture of the crab dip. They give out a great portion but my only critique would be that I wished that there was more crab. It more of tasted like a creamy dip with minimal crab pieces.
We also split the Pork Belly Sandwich & the BB Bowl. Both of these were also amazing!
The Pork Belly Sandwich comes with potato wedges and the sandwich is pretty hefty! We couldn't finish it. The sandwich has a ample Pork, cheese and ingredients.
The BB Bowl has sweet potatoes and I tend to stay away from these, however; in this dish they were amazing! The Farro, the Egg, the sauce, everything was perfect! I'd highly recommend ordering this Bowl. It's very filling as well. It looks deceptively small but it will fill you up!
The Brunch Menu has some excellent choices at a fantastic price! I would come back just to try each and every one of their Brunch options!
All in all, I cannot wait to return to this restaurant! Amazing service that helped me choose what to order, Outdoor Seating with beautiful views, and just an overall...
Read moreI don’t usually leave reviews, but my experience at Lost Fox last weekend was too good not to share.
We stumbled upon this place after a friend’s birthday dinner nearby fell through last minute. We were tired, hungry, and honestly just hoping for decent food. What we got was far beyond anything we expected.
From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting — dim lighting, tasteful decor, and the perfect blend of cozy and upscale. The live music set the tone: chill acoustic vibes that made it feel like a night out without being overbearing. Just enough to enjoy without shouting over your table.
The food? Absolutely unreal. We started with the Bourbon glazed pork belly and the seared tuna— both beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. For mains, I had the pesto gnocchi (rich, melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness) and my partner had the peppercorn crusted filet mignon — she’s still talking about it days later. Cocktails were good and strong, just how we like them.
One thing I really appreciated was how safe we felt. The security staff was professional, present, and discreet — you can tell this place prioritizes both a good time and peace of mind.
Shoutout to Karen, the manager, who checked in on our table personally. You don’t see that kind of care often these days. She made sure we felt welcome and even gave us a couple of great local recommendations for after-dinner drinks. You can tell she runs the place with passion and pride.
Lost Fox has quickly become one of our favorite new spots, and we’re already planning to bring friends back next weekend....
