Ordered online for dine in. The app said to just go to the counter, and I would be handed a tray with my food. After waiting for a while, and several other customers ordering and getting their food, I had to ask for mine. It was served in a bag, though the ticket clearly said "dine in". The bag was not on the "online order" shelf, but sitting next to the fryer. I went to fill my drink, and the machine didn't dispense ice. So I went back to the counter and asked for ice. The person there just mumbled something and pointed to the machine. I said it wasn't working and asked again. He again mumbled something and pointed at the machine. After asking a 3rd time, he finally gave me some ice. As I sat down to eat, I saw several TVs, but they were all off. As my experience here was quite negative, I followed the instructions on my receipt to "let Wendy's know (or whatever wording they use)". On the form, they ask if you would like to be contacted, and I entered "no". As soon as I finished my meal, someone I assumed to be a manager approached me to discuss the issue. I guess he didn't read the "no" part. So I explained all the issues. Regarding the bag, he said ALL mobile orders go in a bag. I mentioned that the app has options for delivery, pick up, or dine in, and asked why they would put a dine in order in a bag. He said they just don't do that. I asked why I had to flag someone down to get my food, while others were ordering and getting theirs before me, and he had no answer. I asked that if they were going to put it in a bag regardless, why it wasn't on the "online order" shelf, and he said that homeless people steal from it. Then why have it? I asked about the TVs, and he said they don't work. Is it that common for multiple TVs to break at once? The food itself was as it should be, but everything else about this store was just awful. I had not gone into a Wendy's for about 5 years before this, and after this experience, I won't be going back. When you jack up prices, you should try to retain quality of service. Total...
Read moreHaving recently moved to the area, this is the third time I have had repulsive food from this Wendy's. Wendy's is one of my favorite fast food restaurants, yet this incident warranted further action. I ordered a double stack combo with ketchup only, a chicken go-wrap with honey mustard and a medium chocolate frosty through drive-thru on my way to work at the hospital. My double stack was cold, complete room temperature, cheese is still cold temperature. My go-wrap's tortilla was crunchy, as if it had been left out too long with a breeze and had hardened prior to rolling my wrap, which actually had cracked on one side when it was rolled and made. The chicken was of decent temperature, although it was slathered with a sauce that is not Wendy's honey mustard. I ended up just opening it and eating the two small pieces of chicken that laid inside what then looked like a soup bowl. The fries, which should be fresh around 630 and a few cars ahead of me in drive-thru, were overcooked, room temp, and had sitting out entirely way too long and the grease had soaked through the fry container. Lastly, the frosty was amazing, but guess that's pretty hard to mess up. This is the third time I've had unacceptable food at this location. It's right on my way to work and despite having horrible service, incorrect orders, and inedible food, I usually give places a second chance. You blew your third one at this location. I hope something chances for the sake of that location. It's the worst one I've been to throughout the US and that's...
Read moreIt was the worst I can remember experiencing in a very long time. I ordered a drink without ice. When I was handed a drink with ice, I refused the drink and explained I ordered without ice. Instead of preparing and serving another drink without ice, while standing next to the manager a worker scoops ice from the drink and tries to serve the same drink to me. I tell the manager I would like a drink without ice and not one I watched someone scoop ice of. The manager requests I pull forward and someone will bring me a drink. I pull forward and park the car. I get out and meet a different person on the way to my car with the drink which still has ice in it because the manager was attempting to serve me the same drink. I explain to her my original request and follow her to inside to receive a new drink. The manager sees her and mentions no ice and she replies it has ice in it to which he responds make another one. Dirty ice has been well documented and I have studied and worked in places which have taught me to be distrustful of how ice is handled. Not withstanding a global pandemic and spikes in covid, society needs people who care about others and doing what's right. Even worse was the role the manager played in...
