This Wendy's is probably one of the most mismanaged Wendy's restaurants that I have ever been to.
50% of the time that I've went there I had to wait for the speaker to get their bearings before I could give them my order. Some of these waiting periods lasted for 5 minutes. It's less of a problem now, but it's still a problem every once in a while. This even happens when there's nobody in front of me (i.e. I grabbed food around 7pm one time with no-one in front of me and they said "Hello, please give me one second" and they took 2 minutes to get acquainted, etc.).
They sometimes mess up coupons and charge you full price (this happens more with the tearable coupons from the sides of drinks instead of the coupon books though). For example, I tried getting a free Large Soda with my Dave's Double by giving them one of those tear off the side of drink deals (Offer #52, Free Any Size Drink with purchase, valid until 6/18/2021). They said at the speaker that it would be valid. I then get charged full price by a separate cashier after giving them the coupon as she had no idea what to do with it. When I asked why I was charged full price, the speaker said "there's nothing I can can do for you."
They sometimes get the order wrong (probably attributed to their speaker being out of date). Usually it's the flavor of drink that they get wrong whenever a mistake happens (i.e. Power Ade Grape instead of Power Ade Lime, Coca-Cola instead of Dr. Pepper, etc.), but I've had several instances where I was charged for a Pretzel Bacon Pub Burger and then was given a Dave's Single instead.
I saw several instances where the manager was yelling at the employees for simple mistakes. That's a good way to ensure high turnover rate (which is what I noticed as I don't notice anyone that I knew worked there a month ago).
Until they sort out their problems, I won't be visiting them again. At the rate they're going, that's probably never. Go to a different Wendy's restaurant if you still want Wendy's. Avoid...
Read morePulled up to order and the woman told me to wait, ok no problem. She came back and told me to go ahead and before I could complete the first word she told me to wait. Ok, I get it, it can be busy. I wait. She comes back to take my order and I tell her I want 2 kids meals with cheeseburgers, apples and juices, 1 kids meal of chicken nuggets, apples and a juice, a #2 with a large diet coke and a large root beer. She tells me to pull around. I pull around and hand her my credit card (note that she never gave me a total for the amount). She runs my card and hands it back. Someone else hands me a drink container with a chocolate milk and 3 large sodas. I say "somethings not right" and explain the drink order again. The girl who handed me the container takes the chocolate milk and the original lady tells me that they charged me already for the 3 sodas, ok no big deal I am not going to sweat the chips of bucks. A guy hands me the 3 juices. Someone else hands me the 3 kids meals and walks away. I sit waiting for the last meal. Someone else sees me sitting there and comes to inquire why I am still there. I tell her I am still waiting for the #2 meal. The original lady comes back to the window and tells me there's no other meal. I explain the order again to her and she raises her voice at me telling me that my meal would have been closer to $16. Mind you, she never gave me a total or a receipt and yes I should have asked for one. Finally, she throws the bag at me and tells me "Here, out of my pocket!" and slams the window shut. She was rude and in such a rush, she wasn't doing her job correctly. I would have been more than happy to pay for the meal. Thank goodness I don't ever have to go back there. And I feel for the people who are stuck...
Read moreI stopped at this Wendy's because it's off the 267 highway. I declined going through the drive-thru so I could get the full experience. Well, I was met by a person who did his best to understand what I was saying. I ordered the Baconator combo with a large drink. It was expensive, to say the least, because I ordered the double burger, fries, and a large drink. I decided to eat in because there were two other customers eating in. I sat down to eat my burger only to be disappointed. The burgers were overcooked, and the bacon was as hard as a leatherback belt. I was very disappointed that I received a burger that should have been thrown out like other restaurants do when the food expires. The pictures soak for themselves. In addition, there was a preschool child playing hide and seek and making faces at me. I guess school was closed or something, but it was annoying that a child of an employee be permitted to misbehave as people are trying to eat. Anyway, the food was outright unsatisfactory, and the atmosphere was a playground for a child who was left unsupervised by his parent. In addition, there was a seat that was ripped, which didn't look recent, but it was not repaired. From my position, it was an eye sore because it was in my direction. I couldn't change my seat because the chair was missing. I think it's clear I won't visit this location again because it's not operationally sound with respect to the food, customer communications, and very laxed dining area.
