The food and the drive-thru speed are at very good levels. My main issue with this place is their speed for dine-in orders. I have gone in on multiple occasions (1-2 times a week) inside (some days, there are 8+ customers inside, others 1-2 people) and the wait times have been consistently getting slower. For a big zak snack meal (just 3 tenders, fries, and toast) I have consistently waiting 10-15 minutes. Mind you, these are at times when there are few customers inside. The cooks seem to be in no rush, or their is some type of dysfunction. Other customers I am waiting with say they are waiting 15+ for their food and complain to the staff. The staff seem to not care and don't address this issue and it leads to a large gathering of people inside waiting a long time on food.
so in summary, about an average Zaxbys, BUT they need to improve their dine-in food delivery times, because it affects customers & their own schedules.since a lot of them are on lunch break and only have so much...
Read moreThat was bad, really bad... I placed on online order at 8:40 and they accepted the order. They supposedly close at 9 but the doors were already locked by 8:45. I used the drive-thru where they told me they couldn't fill my order as they only had 5 wings, not the 10 I ordered (so why did they accept it?). Unfortunately, since they accepted the order, I now get to deal with customer service to get a refund as they can't cancel/reject it from the register.
Still hungry, I ordered the 5 wings they did have. Points in their favor, they were prompt and friendly. When I got home to eat, I found what were literally the worst wings I've ever eaten. So freezer-burned and dry (despite being drenched in sauce), they were clearly anything but fresh. Even the sauce (sweet and spicy) was bland and disappointing.
Maybe things are a bit better earlier in the evening but I don't think I'll be willing to spend any more money...
Read moreIf you omit an item from your salad they will not fill in unless you ask them to. They claim their salads are sold by weight. I got half of the normal salad because I omitted tomatoes. When I called to complain a very rude guy, that sounded like a teenager and claimed to be the manager told me it was my fault! He said salads are sold by weight. Common sense would tell you to fill in with the other items to make it the proper weight. He said it doesnât work that way. He said I should have known. How am I supposed to know unless they post that? He said they canât alter the menu. I said you put notices on your window all of the time. The person taking the order could ask if you want substitutions. He said it wasnât their policy. Very rude, arrogant, and every point I made was met with OMG. Horrible customer service! So, you pay full price for half of a salad, unless you are a...
