Doughboy Donuts — Restaurant in Visalia

These donuts are like clouds when you bite into them, especially the glazed donuts. I'm not an expert by no means but I heard if you change your oil when cooking that's what makes your doughnuts so light and airy. And I believe that's what Doughboy Donuts does differently then other businesses do. We've tried almost every donut in this shop and each one have a powerful punch in their flavor. Their chocolate donut taste like a freshly made chocolate cake with warmly spread chocolate ganache frosting on top. The ham and cheese can be warmed and cut up for two meals and taste like a light and airy croissant. The cake donut what can I say just melts in your mouth.

I've been told by one of the owners that her husband has been at this for around 20 years. I can believe that is why these donuts are so perfect.

The thing is we always seem to pick up our donuts after lunch time. Can you imagine what those donuts would taste like when they first opened up in the morning??? Amazing I would think don't you??? Let me know won't you???

We come from Sunnyvale and Corcoran at least twice a month to pick up a dozen donuts or more. Well worth the travel and our taste buds.

P. S. They have a drive-thru for you commuters.

This use to be my favorite place to go to cause the doughnuts were soft and melt in my mouth type. I went recently and they are NOT THE SAME AS THEY USE TO BE I don't know if the owner changed or it's because of the staff but they taste like Scotty's doughnuts now unfortunately. I hope they get there original taste back but for now I am not going back I am going to have to find another...
