Myself and 5 other people went in this morning, the dark haired lady/server sat us..she then brought us our menus, silverware, and napkins and then said "I'm going to go close out this check, then I'll come take your drink order"
She then closed out a check, went to another table and refreshed their drinks, went to the counter and closed out another check, went to 2 more tables that got there after us and took their drink orders.
We got her attention and when she came to the table she already had an attitude by saying "what do you want"
A guy in our group said "you told us over 15 minutes ago that you were going to cash out a check then come right back and take our drink order, and since then you have gone to 4 other tables 2 of which got here way after we did and, we had to get your attention just to try and get a drink order in"
She then raised her voice and somewhat yelled (to the point to where everyone in the restaurant got quiet and looked at her) and she said "first of all I am not your server so don't yell at me!"
Mind you he did raise his voice a little bit but only because it was loud in there and he was the furthest person from her at the opposite end of the table from where she was.
She then took our drink orders with a nasty attitude, then went and started complaining about our table to the lady that I guess was supposed to be our server, loud enough for most people in the restaurant to hear her.
Once we heard her loudly complaining about our table, we got up and left
I'm not one of those people that think the customer is always right..because I have been a server before and I know how some pwoplw can be...but don't tell us you will be right back to take our drink order then get mad at us when we bring it to your attention that you never came back to our table to take our drink order.
Very unprofessional, I know myself and everyone that was in our group will...

For brunch we ordered their steak and eggs, eggs Benedict, a coffee, and an omelette for our daughter. Food was mediocre & service was friendly, however, the one waitress that serviced the entire place didn't acknowledge our table the entire dine. We even get asked if I wanted more coffee or a water refill. She was too busy entertaining the regulars.
As far as food goes, the steak was over seasoned (a bit on the salty side), eggs Benedict was mediocre, omelette was alright. The country potatoes were okay, and hash browns was yum (but, who can mess that up?) lol. The sourdough that came with the steak and eggs weren't all that toasted so we asked them to toast it a little more and they came back with them burnt on one side the second time around.
Ambiance was social and chill. Aesthetics was country and a bit patriotic. Would probably come back if the service would've been better.
If you're not a regular here, don't expect to get any special attention. Overall, an okay spot to get decent food at...
Read moreThis place is now called Granny's. My dad eats there often and had had 3 good experiences since the name change, but when I went with him for my first time, some things were off. I'm mentioning it here not to badmouth the business but to share information so they can improve their product! Service was great but the biscuits seems like they were one to two days old since they were pretty crunchy under the gravy. The hash browns were perfectly crispy but seemed like they were using old oil because they had a fishy smell. The pork steak was huge and well cooked but exceptionally salty. And if I were to nit-pick, the coffee is a tad week for my taste but I think it's pretty standard brew for a cafe so this is a minor issue.
If fresher biscuits and oil were used, and the salt was backed about 20% off, it would have been a...
