My family has been coming to Passariello's for almost 15 years, and we always love their food, but unfortunately we did not have a good experience there tonight. My sister has dietary restrictions and needs to eat gluten-free, so she called ahead by a few hours to order a plain gluten-free pizza for dine-in. When we arrived, the manager and other staff at the pickup counter were extremely rude after telling her that it wasn't ready yet, and there was a lot of confusion because they expected her to pay before even seeing the pizza. At the front, they told her that she didn't need a dining card to process her pizza order (that she would pay at the end), but that was the first thing they asked her for as soon as she reached the pickup counter a few feet away. Then the staff member at the counter asked her several times confusedly, "And this is pickup for dine-in?" When asking to know when her pizza would be ready, the manager was very snarky with her, laughing and saying, "Well, this is pickup," and insisting that she had to keep coming back to the front for them to check. Finally, the manager literally yells across the restaurant to the pizza chefs, "GLUTEN-FREE PIZZA!" to check on the order, which was terribly embarrassing. The manager kept glaring at her and laughed when she expressed confusion about how to pick up her order, when they could have simply told her to check by the normal pizza counter. According to a phone call from the last time we ate there, the staff instructed us to place her gluten-free orders in advance on the phone to make sure that the special dough was available. We aren't even sure how to get a plain gluten-free pizza without backlash. We'd love to figure this out so that we aren't afraid to have her try to order edible food...
Read moreDrove around for 2 hrs looking for a place that had a table available. I'm not even sure how we ended up here, I was driving blindly just looking around and somehow took a turn on a road that literally ended in their parking lot and I am glad it did! We were starving! We walked in 15 mins before closing and they actually sat us! We were getting ready to head out the door, defeated and hungry but were pleasantly surprised that they insisted on seating us! The menu was impressive! Authentic Italian food. I had a Hank's rootbeer - YUM!- and started with mozzerella sticks. Those came out super quick! Ordered a French dip sandwich and a Bundy burger for my boyfriend. That also came out hot, fresh and quickly as well. Everything was fantastic! We didn't get dessert but they had a ton of fresh made delicious options. The prices seem high but once you take the first bite you won't mind. It's worth it! This will...
Read moreWow, one of the most mediocre and visually displeaseing salads even made. If you have a cheap bag of lettuce in your fridge and are at the bottom of the bag with the worse cuts of lettuce— you too can make a Passariello salad.
If you order egg on your salad for the extra charge, don't. Just boil your eggs at home because you'll only find one slice of egg and not an egg on your salad.
If you order an italian salad with cured meat, why? Why pay extra when you're only given a $11 platter pf poorly shredded lettuce and a side of dressing. Oh wait. The dressing was not in the bag. Well the roll was delicious at least.
This review is about my first and last time ordering from this shop. Save your money, go to the grocery store and purchase all the ingredients necessary to make a subpar salad of your own. Just cut this shop out as the middle man. Money not well...
