Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Waco

I ordered a DQDude which was actually very good. But the staff was not at all knowledgeable about their products. I was interested in buying an ice cream cake but when I asked about the price I was told that no one working could tell me how much they were. Then when I asked how they expected to sell any if they didn't know the price the employee got an attitude. So though the food is ok the attitude of the employee ruined it. Went back again today and ordered a Blizzard. Couldn't get it though because even though they have it on the menu board " they don't have ingredients to make it". If you don't have it then take it off the board! Like the time I came and ordered a banana split but they didn't have any bananas! Very poor management that can't keep the ingredients to the products you are supposed to serve. Next time I'll go to Sonic! Gave them one more try today because I wanted a Toll House cookie Blizzard. Guess what? They have a sign on the window but of course they didn't have the ingredients to make it....

Why is it at Dairy Queen they have no clue how to make a chocolate malt with extra chocolate? If chocolate is dark brown almost black amd u mix a dark dark brown with white how do you come up with off white color? Im so tired of paying there prices And having to take it home to fix it. No longer will I purchase ice cream at this location. I will drive the extra distance to the New Road location Where they go out of there way to make you what you want and they do it with a sincere smile! Also, if I’m the only one in the drive-thru and nobody’s around it why do I have to pull around and you bring it out? Why can’t I just stay there? You always say the condiments I’ll request are in the bag but, they’re not. You don’t even give a napkin. I’m in the drive-thru means there’s a good chance I’m eating on the run. I am sorry but I have to change my review. The service here was an absolute disaster. I went there about 6:15 pm weekday night and went in and ordered 2 burger meals. Then I waited a long time maybe 30 minutes and I asked the manager about my order and he went to look. He came back later and asked me what I ordered. Then he came back later and said he couldn't find it. Then I saw one of the cooks taking huge bags of food out to several parked cars. So apparently they were people who had ordered online or called in. So after about an hour I asked if he could give me a refund. But guess what? Then he found my order and he did give me a refund so I could go to McDonald's and get something to eat. He never apologized and they didn't bother to tell me or the other customers it would be about an hour to get food if they could even find your order. He looked totally overwhelmed and confused.
