Blimpie — Restaurant in Walcott

Almost closing time, girl was friendly and patient. Didn’t know what I wanted. Was hungry, but not that hungry. So I chose the regular size tuna sub. For some reason, the breads texture was a little hard, crumbly and dry to me. I didn’t toast it. It was white bread. The tuna was just okay. Plenty of toppings to choose from and were fresh. I’m thinking the bread was what I didn’t like so much and wasn’t happy about. But everything else, the service, the fact that it was open until 21:00, and her patients helped to have me think I would try again to see if it was possible that I was just tired that made the bread not enjoyable. I’ll toast it next time...

We wouldn't of know it was Chester chicken here, until we smell the fried chicken smell in the air.

It's right next to blimpy.

We got the chicken that just came out the fryer.

This is the best chicken we had at any Chester, at any truck stop.

The chicken was breaded just right. The season was the right amount, not to salty and not bland.

One thing I hate is dry chicken and it was no where near dry. The breast really surprised us. It was so juicy and. Crispy with every bite.

If you are looking to try Blimpie, don't start here. Blimpie at least used to be as good or better than Subway but this place is a really bad example of that. The bread was dry and crumbly the lettuce and maters was well past the good stage. The pickles also seemed like they might have been around for a while. The girl that made the sub was nice though. It did cost me fifteen for the footlong meal which I guess isn't bad now days. Over all, if you are looking to try the Blimpie brand,...
