TA Truck Service — Local services in Walcott

I give a couple of stars because the service people were really nice. But I was highly disappointed and the way they treated my time. They gave me an appointment for 8:00 a.m. the day before, to have a satellite installed on my tractor. But they never called me at 8:00. At about 8:45 I called them and they told me it wouldn't be until late afternoon until they get me in. What these people failed to understand is I'm on a schedule myself. I couldn't wait so I had to leave. Which means they lost $629 for the satellite, $150 for the amount and whatever labor they would have charged me to install it. You have to understand we are on schedules. And when you break your schedule and don't even tell us about it it makes you guys look really bad. Makes me wonder should I ever bring my truck there if I ever break down!. I am highly dissatisfied and disappointed with your scheduling system. Don't tell somebody that you can do it at a certain time and then don't come...

Pulled in at 1530 with a serious issue on my truck was told a couple of hours. Three hours go by I find out how much longer now I hear some song and dance about small issues turning into big problems with trucks ahead of me still a couple of hours. Here it is 5hrs later all the truck service bays are empty and still no call. Okay that very poor customer service if you don't want to work on it until morning THEN SAY SO!!! Misleading the customs is unacceptable and ultimately costs TA money but these folks are paid by the hour and it's obvious they don't care about the customer's time or lost revenue. SO VERY HAPPY! Between Marco and Brenden, these guys knocked it out of the ballpark! Marco installed a "universal" air line box. On an older truck, as mine is, universal was kind of stretching things. Marco persevered and got the box latched down PERFECTLY! Brenden traced the wires on the spare switch from the dash to the back of the cab and got the dual revolution (red to purple) LED's wired in. Then he replaced the aged built-in lights on the back of the cab with dual revolution LED's and wired them in. FABULOUS COMMUNICATION with both Marco and Brenden.
