The Garage On Main — Restaurant in Walhalla

Can’t recommend this place enough! We had our annual fall event for our car group (crossfires) this past weekend, and we were driving through Walhalla. Due to some changes in our route, we decided to have lunch here at the last minute. Called about 40 mins ahead to make sure they had the size to accommodate our group of ~15 and parking for 9 cars. By the time we arrived, the host was standing by the “garage” entrance with a stack of menus ready to welcome us! As for the food, each entree was huge, filling, and delicious!! They do not hold back on the meats/protein! Each and every member of our group left stuffed & satisfied. They kept saying how good of a choice this was for lunch!! We visited The Garage for the first time on Friday night and it was SO GOOD - I decided it was worthy of a 5-Star review! (Which I rarely do!) If you enjoy a ‘small town’ vibe with local owners & attention to customer service, The Garage checks those boxes. The FOOD was a YUGE surprise! My husband and I split the BLT & Philly Cheesesteak and they were both AMAZING! I had low expectations for the tomatoes in winter, but they were ripe & delicious. The Philly Cheesesteak bread was fresh & crusty! The meat wasn’t sliced - it was more like chunks from a crockpot and melted in my mouth! The Garage is hands-down one of the best bars I’ve ever been to. Tucked right on Main Street, it’s got that perfect mix of chill vibes and high energy. The atmosphere is rustic and cool—like your favorite dive bar grew up but still knows how to party.

The drink selection is top-tier, and the craft brews are amazing. The bartenders? Absolute legends—super friendly, fast, and they actually know their stuff. Whether you're there for a casual drink or a full night out, The Garage delivers every time.
