All I can say is this one of the best treasures found on my trip to the south! I don’t usually leave reviews but this place deserves a raving one! They have a wide variety of options ranging from different types of coffees(including flavoring(both sugar and sugar free ones!)), to teas, and even boba! They have a extensive collection of goods as well from pastries, breakfast sandwiches, salads, soups and even ice cream!! All of which are absolutely delicious! The staff here is friendly and create a welcoming atmosphere. They also promote a lot of hometown artist ranging from unique jewelry, to handmade organic honey and candles, to beautiful art pieces of many types! This little hometown coffee shop has a beautiful atmosphere that is very rare and hard to find, I recommend this to anyone and everyone!

Such a fun inviting experience! We’ve passed this place several times wanting to stop by. We finally did and truly enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere was cozy coffee shop with pops of color and many options for entertainment. There was a tv with the option to watch movies or shows on a fire stick. At the tables we waited for our items and passed the time playing a game of tic tac toe with the cool little wooden games they include. There are also local handmade items for sale all around the shop. From earrings to hats and shirts. We ordered the bacon and cheese croissants and fromos. The breakfast sandwiches were very tasty and priced fairly affordable. The fromos were frozen coffee drinks that we could choose the flavors of. Those were very tasty but a bit sweet.

Cute local business! I think that they’re smart to have food, coffee, ice cream, and some things for sale. I’ve never had any issues with the taste or quality of anything I’ve ordered here. It’s very conveniently located right in the middle of downtown Walhalla. I’m so happy it has survived this long-it makes me hopeful that it’ll be a downtown staple for years to come. The service is sometimes slow, but it’s a small business and hiring is tough for a lot of places right now. Just don’t go if you’re in a hurry and it should be fine.

One steps into Mountain Mocha of Walhalla, South Carolina, not merely for sustenance, but for an affirmation of life’s simpler, finer pleasures. This is no mere coffee shop—it is a bastion of warmth, of conviviality, a place where time slows just enough for one to properly appreciate the dulcet aroma of fresh-ground beans and the quiet hum of earnest conversation.

Our visit, occasioned by a stroll through the charmingly rejuvenated downtown—a credit to the town’s careful stewardship—was met with an atmosphere that is both whimsical and grounded. The décor, that delightful blend of post-industrial charm and nostalgic miscellanea, fosters an environment where one feels equally inclined to muse over a book, strategize over a tabletop game, or simply contemplate existence with a well-crafted mocha in hand.

Ah, the fare! The BLT, that glorious testament to simplicity perfected, was prepared with care, each ingredient acting in concert rather than competition. The coffee cake—a confection of indulgent delight—was a study in balance, neither cloying nor austere, but precisely right. And the mocha, that stalwart companion of the thinking man, proved a triumph, its velvety richness dispelling any lingering dampness from the morning air.

The crew—fleet of foot, cheery of disposition—execute their duties with that rare blend of efficiency and human warmth, ensuring that patrons feel not as mere customers, but as welcomed guests.

Would I return? To entertain the notion of abstention would be to willfully deny oneself a portion of joy. Nay, Mountain Mocha is not a place one merely visits; it is a place one returns to, time and again, as surely as the sun rises over Walhalla’s hills. A toast, then, to its splendid...

Mountain Mocha is a cozy little gem in the heart of Walhalla! From the moment you walk in, the warm, welcoming vibe hits you—it’s the kind of place that makes you want to stay a while. Their coffee is top-notch smooth, rich, and made just right every time. I’ve tried a few different drinks and they’ve all been consistently delicious. Whether you’re into a classic latte, a flavored iced coffee, or one of their seasonal specialties, you’ll find something you love. The staff is always friendly and takes the time to make sure your order is perfect. You can tell they really care about both the product and the people who come in. It’s a great spot to meet up with a friend, get some work done, or just take a break from the day. And if you’re lucky, you might catch some local baked goods or treats on the counter too!

Definitely one of my go-to spots when I’m in town. Highly recommend supporting this sweet...
