Bantam Chef of Walhalla — Restaurant in Walhalla

Bantam Chef has been around since I can remember. As a little girl I always begged to stop and get the apple sticks! And now that I'm an adult, I get all the apple sticks! Muahahaha! The lines for people wanting to order can get long. You may wait a long time to get to the window. But please, just be patient. The food is absolutely worth it and in my opinion getting delicious diner food delivered right through your window is the best thing since... well.. sit down diner food. The staff is awesome. The ladies that work here know how to please their customers and don't mind getting a laugh or two stirred up. They go above and beyond and I swear that they are super human because their memories for food orders are out of this world. Not once have I gotten a wrong order! The prices are also pretty awesome. The last time I went I got a BLT plate with tots and a side of apple sticks (because I get them all, lol) and it was only $8! Go through Mcdonalds and a decent meal with a dessert will be $10+! And the quality of food doesn't even compare! I love...

Thankfully we beat the super long line and I think it was like 2 pm or something! It got crazy right after our order. We were third in line then while we waited for our order in the parking lot next to it the line got all the way to the bend in the parking lot- probably 12 or more vehicles in line. But that’s not why a mediocre rating. The burgers got raves from the kids that got them. Drinks were okay. It’s mostly ice but it’s like that everywhere except here they have the nice pea size ice which is great to chew but takes up more space in cup leaving little room for your actual drink. Nice to have sweet tea as an option. Everything else ordered was fried and dry-chicken strips, fries, tots, corn dogs. 5 kids meals ordered total. Bottom line… based on my experience I’d say stick with things not...

Food was great. Hamburger steaks take 20 min to cook, but we waited 30+ minutes in the drive through from the time the employee took our order (she walked down the line of cars, so you order well in advance of getting to the window). Very, very tasty and well worth the wait! There is a reason it is by far the longest wait in Walhalla!

Lobby was closed, so it was drive through only, though there are only probably about 8 seats inside anyway.
