Steak House Cafeteria — Restaurant in Walhalla

I've been eating here for over 30 years and today was my final meal! 1 star is one of the best home cooked 2 stars is the staff is very friendly. the other fail 3 stars is when me and my finance got to the bar we were told we had to wear a mask I told them we couldn't wear a mask. The manager came up and explained that D.H.E.C told him if anyone refuses to wear a mask don't serve them. D.H.E.C should have informed him about medical condition with people and trust me I will be contacting D.H.E.C. I'm not blaming him at all he just doing what they told him to do and he was extremely nice. The 3 stars is about these dang mask and besides that my germs can not get in there mask and there germs can't get out of there mask just saying. There is another place I can go to eat and that is my house. Again the staff is very friendly. Again my final meal!...

Wonderful family-friendly restaurant. This place has been in business 53 years. The owner is there he almost never leaves he is in his 80 s and a very unique and interesting individual who has had a wonderful life. This place is exactly what it sets out to be. It is very clean and very well run. The concept is the genius of the owner, and it works. Clean and friendly to all they treat you like family. Me and my girl went at lunch time on a sat ...Everything was set up for buffet. No one even speaks not even at the register smh ...so the 2 of us for meat and 3 and I got an extra peice of chicken $46....so look at the bill and was charged individually for every single thing most we didn't eat but $3.50 for a small bowl of sweet carrots?? I get it food prices are high right but not that high. That's complete price gouging. No other excuses and to top it off the carrots were nasty and not even edible. Now I hate to leave a bad review but it's now Sunday afternoon and I'm still upset...
