My fiance and I went by Jack in the Box in Walker, Louisiana around 11:30pm-12:30am Monday night, April 19th, 2021. When we arrived to Jack in the Box, to our surprise, there was only one other vehicle there and they were pulling away from the drive-thru as we pulled up to view the first menu before pulling up to the speaker box to place our order. After just a brief minute of looking over the menu, we were ready to place our order. We pulled up to place our order; only to be rather disappointed as the nice young man came over the speaker and informed us that only fried item's were available for us to order. We had been planning on ordering two of the number two's, which is a double cheeseburger meal, but obviously we had to choose something else that was fried. The Jack in the Box meals that they have for their customers to choose from only had two maybe three different options that had the fried chicken sandwiches to choose from. We were both able to find something that we liked in order to go ahead and place our order, but as I told the young man I'd like a sweet tea with mine he politely informed me that they were also out of sweet tea as well. All in all this trip to Jack in the Box cost more than I would have liked to spend on a quick bite to eat and we were not even able to order our original meals. Read moreAnother update to say that no matter what the owner is responding here, they will not reply to any of the emails I have sent them. I am updating to respond to owners response. I have reached out to this business, twice. I've gotten no reply. Don't belive their "let us make this right" comment. I was visiting family in Denham and thought it would be nice to swing by Jack in the Box on our way back to Alabama, especially since we don't have any by us. I was running a bit behind, so I ordered ahead while I was getting gas, that way I could just grab it and go. I ordered a couple ultimate cheeseburgers for my husband, and a sourdough grilled cheese and curly fries for me. About 10 minutes later I'm in the drive through getting my order, so far so good. I get back on the interstate, reach into the bag to grab a fry, and I get a straight, old fry. Okay, no problem, must be a couple for mixed in. Reach for another, same thing. Not only were they not the curly fries I ordered, they were definitely old. Whatever, not going to turn around for some fries. I reach in the bag, feeling around for my square sandwich. Nothing square is there. However, one of the round wrappers is thinner than the other 2, so that must be my sandwich. I unwrap it, and it's a hamburger bun with a piece of cheese in the middle, microwaved to melt the cheese! This is absolutely insane! As of August 18th. My mind has been permanently changed . Walker la 1132 pm. Is it normal practice for your drive through personal to announce only serving burgers before an order . Then customers place orders of 2 number 6 . Then go silent ... customers talk to the speaker to confirm the order and are totally ignored. Go to the window to be totally ignored, and. clearly see that no one is cooking, making sandwiches, or at a register placing order or providing customer service . We were THE ONLY PPL in the drive thru. We had sat in the lot several mins trying to to.get your app to actually email us. Both the phones have yet received said email . It's been over an hour. Yet I HAVE received texts from yall already . We were never addressed in the window. All they did was stand there talking to each other . And they clearly saw us. Confirmed by the eye roll and the hand thrown up in disgust at our presence.
This is the 2 Night this week that there has been some kind of issue . At the start of the week it was " I'm sorry. We cant take any orders our system is down... since when cant u go cash only and use a calculator add 10% tax and serve the guest . Every time we come after 10pm your stafff is horrible lazy rude and downriggt nasty to guests u really should just sit ans watxh one night...
