I appreciate the excellent quality, service and variety of products that's available both online and in-store (I have been to all locations) . It's rare to find this consistency at such affordable prices. I don't have the time or skill to recreate the desserts I remember as a child and Mozzicato's allows me to share those memories with family and friends.

I frequently buy an assortment of savory and sweet pastries for a host or as a small thank you. It's an affordable and unique way to show appreciation for any occasion - perfect for the holidays 🎄🎁🙏. It's a great opportunity to introduce authentic Italian desserts ( Pignoli, Pasticiotti, Sfogliatelle, Cannoli) to individuals or groups and eliminates the uncertainty associated with wine, candles or flowers when I need a gift.

Definitely the best Italian pastry and gelato in the area. I use to drive to Lucibello's in New Haven - are great but I don't have to drive for 45 minutes now to taste Little Italy! Mozzicato offers friendly and quick service for delicious authentic pastries, bread and peppery Italian pretzels (taralli).

I especially love the Pasticciotto. I have had the ricotta and egg cream filled. Both are great but I favor the vanilla egg cream. Also I dare you to leave their without getting a cannoli or cream puff for the ride home. Mozzicato is now a must for every holiday and special occasion.

The service was great and the cake.... I literally have no words to define. I went to the bakery at last minute, as the cake place I chose earlier for my husband's birthday was closed by the time we reached. We were on trip so it was not possible to place order very early. I and friends searched for bakery around us and fortunately reached this place. The lady who took order for the cake was so helpful, she even suggested us to get fresh cake which was to be ready in 15 min, we said yes to that fruit cake and believe me the wait was worth it. Every bite was soft and fruity. They didn't compromised quality and those $40 were worth spending for 8" cake. I will definitely recommend going for the place. Even I would like to go again and taste other flavors they offer. And yes, I remember one more thing the premise was very clean and specially the restroom LOL. but that is true. Me and my friend started reffering to the place as the bakery with awesome restroom.😆 But really go and try atleast once, if by chance you are travelling on that route, The cake of course I am talking about...

The cannolis I purchased were delicious. My 2 stars are for their customer service. I called and placed an order for the cannolis a few days before pickup. They were suppose to be ready at 5. I arrive after 5 and they were not made. I called to speak with the owner and was transferred to the managers husband. Not sure what the managers husband had to do with the business? He did not apologize that they were not made or did not offer anything for the inconvenience of being late to the party I was taking the order to. He stated that they are made to order, while the associate there stated they were suppose to be made early morning. Who’s lying? 🤥 Really...
