When I called the man with a thick accent didn’t quite understand me I guess when I called an d placed my order which ended up being wrong when I picked up.. No big deal at first I just informed them this isn’t what I order. He argued with me and I corrected him. They took it back and said we will fix it.. Mind you what they gave me I was allergic to I advised them I don’t eat it I can’t.. I truly makes me sick.. he said he would remake the order.. .Nope all they did was take off the stuff off the burger then decided to give me back the food cold with new cheese.. As he gave me back my order he rudely said next time take the menu which I had found online so you know how to order food. . Sorry you didn’t understand me when i placed my order, but thank you for risking my life when i advised you I can’t eat what was on the burger and all you did was take it off and give me the same food back. Your lucky I don’t press this matter further since you could have literally harmed a person life because you couldn’t understand what they asked for and when they they tell you I can’t eat it due to allergic reactions don’t be mad , next time find someone else who can understand if you couldn’t.. I guess what upset me was you could have cared less that I informed you I was allergic to what was on the burger and I couldn’t eat it.. know it’s cross contamination when it’s already made with the the things on it. Respect others I still paid for the food which two burgers needed up being nearly 50 dollars. Also 17.99 times two is exactly 35.98 plus taxes no More than 40 I should have paid so where the extra 10 dollars came from I don’t know sadly I use to love this place but I refused to be treated l worthless all because you don’t understand.. be careful next time if a person tells you I’m allergic or can’t eat this realize you can jeopardize their life just due to cross...
Read moreBeen to this diner many times in the past but definitely won't go back. Stopped in for breakfast yesterday morning on September 2nd 2021. Ordered two cups of coffee and after looking at the menu we decided that we were going to go somewhere else. The prices were just ridiculously inflated. The server basically came back to take our order after she brought us our coffee and we told her that we were just going to have the coffee. When she asked if there was a problem I basically told her that the prices were ridiculously too high. She stated that anything we order includes the coffee but we still decided to just have our coffee and leave. Needless to say, when she gave me the check we were charged $3.50 per cup of coffee. Over $7 with tax for two small cups of coffee. Don't understand how they expect to retain customers when their prices are so high and there are places right up the road with larger servings and less expensive prices. I don't mind paying for a meal but certainly not for diner food at those prices. I also understand that they did some improvements but I don't see how you could pass those costs onto the customers. Definitely pricing yourself out. Family member also went there for lunch the other day and said they paid almost $80 for lunch for three people. Sorry but that is absolutely ridiculous. Needless to say they lost a few customers. And probably will lose more until they have more competitive prices. I know after reading the other reviews that the owners response is that his suppliers are raising his prices so he had to adjust the prices as well. Truth is they just did some improvements to the diner and he apparently is passing on those costs to the customer. Been out to eat a few times this past week and the other restaurants are certainly not jacking up their prices like this place. Definitely...
Read moreService = WOW! I have NEVER been so impressed! I don’t remember the server’s name, but she was incredible. I was in town for a couple days for work and stopped in Wednesday (3-15-2023) around 1:00. I got to the booth, saw it was busy, looked at the time, and realized I was pressed for time. She picked up on that. Not looking at the menu, before my coat was even off, I asked for a drink and a BLT (assuming that should be quick to make, and they likely offer it). Because they looked VERY busy, I was nervous, but 6 minutes later, it was in front of me. I never got to ask her for anything because she has an ESP-level sense of what I’d need or want. Not just a refill, but with out a single gesture knew I wanted a side of mayo. I’ve never been so impressed with a waitress in my life. Because I travel for work, we are restricted to 20% gratuity on the company credit card, so that’s normally what I give to anyone.
I was so amazed by her performance, but had no cash, I paid with a personal card for the $21.66 meal, just so I could leave a $35.00 tip. I hope the business replies, because I really want to know what her name was because I want to publicly acknowledge her specifically (again, worked Wednesday March 15, 2023, I got in at 1:00 and left at 1:30, she was there the whole time). I don’t know when I’ll be back in town, as I’m heading home to Buffalo. But, next time I’m in the area, I absolutely must stop by again.
She is a necessity for your business, and could teach server classes! Thank you (and especially her) for a great dining experience. Good food, fast service, personalized service, and intuitive servers… it’s impossible to normally see all 4 of those at once, yet...
