Service: friendly and fast, considering the huge menu selection. staff knowledgable about the items. Answered all my questions about the food.
Pricing: more expensive than a local deli or fastfood [like Wendy's my normal go to] salad, but the ingredients are more diverse and likely sourced very well. good value. They have a loyalty program which I need to find out about. Cheaper than G-Zen for sure.
Menu: the menu is very large and caters to juice people and hungry people with different regional flavors like Indian, Mexican, Mediterrenean, as well as American. The selection is a great thing.
Taste: the tastes are very good and on par with the best vegan cuisine I've tried. Lookied at the ingredients used they are basically stand toe to toe with a place like G-Zen which is a famous vegan eatery in Branford. This is just my perspective as a non-vegan.
Did I still want meat: Yep. I wonder if they have any hot wraps, maybe with tofu or soemthing. I saw they had a cheeseburger wrap which I plan to try. I did crave some hot chicken in my wrap. LOL
Was I satisified [food wise]: Yep, mostly, but still that wierd meat craving remains. Fairly full and feeling more that way by the minute
What did I try? Budda Bowl, as a wrap [normal tomato wrap], with quinoa Almond Joy bar
The buddha bowl in the wrap had alot of mild tastes and a savory light curry sauce that won't harm your typical American taste. It was more of a Thai curry so far as I could tell. Overall it's kind of mild Thai wrap. It's more of a salad though with spinach
Almond joy bar was crazy. I advise sharing this monster. It's like eating 8 almond joy candy bars. It seems (?) small but it is dense and rich. No sugar is used. I definitely should have saved half for later
Overall: A healthy experience at a restaurant price. You can taste the love. Would probably eat here every day if they catered to...
Read moreWild Alchemy is a true one stop shop for eats! Vegan or not, this establishment has so many unique options, you're bound to find something delicious and hearty to satisfy your hunger! Their Falafel Wraps for one, are also out of this world! Salads are filling and delicious, they have a nice selection of snacks and a monthly feature & their smoothie and juice selection is large! They also have a few tables outside to enjoy al fresco dining, have CBD products and other supplements for sale, juice shots, and house made to go nutrient waters in their fridge in addition to other interesting brands.
This is honestly the first place I've been too where I loved something from each category (food, smoothie, juice & dessert)
Must tries in my opinion:
Wraps: Falafel Salad: Zen Dessert: Key Lime Pie my friend devoured (June 2021 Special) and almond joy or butterfinger bar Smoothie: Creamsicle (Superfood selection) & Berry Berry Bliss Juice: Tiny Dancer & Moxie Lady (I get light...
Read moreGood food with a very large selection. Smoothies we're tasty, as were the pies. Honestly, it's just really expensive for the amount and type of food you get. A family of four each having a smoothie, a wrap, and a piece of pie adds up to $110! I expect that at a nice place with full service and larger portions, but at a wrap cafe that's hard to stomach.
Wish we could visit again but the prices will probably have us look elsewhere.
Edit with one other thing: they used an OBSCENE amount of single use plastic for our meal. Every item had its own container, utensils were plastic, cups and lids were plastic too. And this was for dine in, so it was even more unnecessary than for take-out. To top it all off, no recycling options - all of that new trash went into the landfill. PLEASE consider switching to reusable plates and utensils for dine in, and reconsidering your packaging choices for takeout. Lots of room for...
