9/10/24 UPDATE Stopped in this afternoon for another try at a cheeseburger at this great little roadside burger joint. This time instead of a steamed cheeseburger, I opted for a traditional one. Good choice! Done to perfection, had all the right toppings in generous amounts and no skimping here! The young lady that took my order and brought it out to me took the time to show me how to post my checkin and photos on FaceBook! I’m betting next visit will be five stars with a steamed cheeseburger and onion rings!

5/7/24 First time back since they re-opened with new owners. They have a more extensive menu than in the past, including steamed cheeseburgers which is what I was jonzin for. I ordered two steamed cheeseburgers with lettuce, tomato & onion, and paid the counter man, then went outside to sit at one of the two picnic tables to wait for my dinner. After about 15 minutes I went back inside to see if my order was maybe sitting on the counter, waiting for me to pick it up. Not so, the gent behind the counter said he had six orders ahead of mine. Not an issue I told him. It is 2 Guys, ONE grill after all. I went back outside and sat at the picnic table again and finally about ten minutes later the young man came out with my much anticipated steamed cheeseburgers. I unfolded the the first one and took a bite, only to realize the lettuce, tomato and onion were still inside the building. At this point I just decided to eat and head home. He came out about half way through the first one and asked me how everything was. I told him the burger was very good but would’ve been better with the lettuce, tomato & onion I’d asked for. He was very apologetic and said he didn’t see it on “the slip”. He offered to reimburse me, but it wasn’t worth going back inside for. I finished chowing them down (VERY filling!), and left. I’ll give them another try in the future, chalking this small fiasco...

The food was sensational. The person taking our order was honest that the 6 lemonades we ordered would take longer because they needed to make a run for ice. I respect honesty in food service, and we weren't in a rush so it was a-okay. The lemonades, when they were ready, were refreshing and delicious. The containers they're in are big and they're chock fulla ice. A perfect drink on a hot day. We got burgers and onion rings, my burger of choice being a double. These are proper capital b Burgers. So if you're thinking of getting a double, come prepared and with a big mouth and mighty appetite. I have both of these things, so I was set. Our server, the same person at the register, was kind and punctual. While we were deep in Burger Heaven, the owner himself came out and asked us how our food was and made some conversation. I respect small business in general, but I really appreciate being able to see an owner of a business face to face. Once we were finished with our meal and nearly ready to up and skee-daddle, the owner comes out AGAIN, this time with a take-out container in hand. He puts it down and offers us an experimental desert item he's working on and was looking for our feedback. He described some of the trouble he was running into with it's developmental, and I could hear his genuine passion for the culinary arts. Something I hold near and dear to my heart is passion. I like to see people excited about the things they're working on. A complete and satisfied recommendation from me. Two thumbs,...

I stumbled upon 2 Guys 1 Grill by chance and boy, was I in for a treat! The onion rings were a symphony of textures and flavors - crispy, greasy, sweet, and tangy all at once. They were like a carnival in my mouth, exploding with sensations that made my taste buds sing.

And the burgers? Oh, the burgers were a masterpiece of meat and madness. They were towering monuments of beef, cheese, and condiments, packed with so much gusto and bravado that I felt like I was eating a challenge, a dare, a rite of passage.

The atmosphere was a mix of rustic charm and gritty authenticity, with hints of nostalgia and modernity colliding in a kaleidoscope of colors and sounds. The staff was a crew of cool cats, hipsters, and locals, all of whom seemed to share a secret language of culinary prowess and streetwise humor.

If you're looking for a lunch spot that will awaken your senses and stir your soul, then 2 Guys 1 Grill is your destination. But be warned, my friends, for this joint is not for the faint of heart or the weak of stomach. It's a place where legends are made and myths are born. A place where you can taste the essence of life itself, distilled and grilled...

Oh boy. I really wanted to like this place. It’s a tiny little shack, almost no seating inside (a small counter, some stools and two small tables), with a fun, funky vibe. The two guys behind the counter/in the kitchen were friendly and pleasant, but I just can’t recommend the food. I ordered a Boomin’ Shroom burger (Swiss, mushrooms bacon) and onion rings. Both items were extremely greasy, soaking through the paper the burger was wrapped in and the brown bag my takeout order was put in. The burger, despite nicely sautéed mushrooms and crisp bacon, had little flavor and the onion rings were truly a disaster: greasy and tasteless (not even a hint of onion!), similar to the onion rings served at Burger King. I know I didn’t order the diet plate special here, but if I’m going to indulge in this many calories, I’d like the meal to be worth it, and taste of something besides grease.
