Kathie and Glenn's Steakhouse — Restaurant in Wallington

I am so glad my bf and I decided to have dinner at Kathie and Glenn’s Sizzling Steaks. When we arrived, there were a few other groups in the restaurant, not crowded at all. And I happen to like the 2000s Pop music they were playing in the background. We were tended to almost immediately as they weren’t busy. We didn’t take long to try and figure out what we wanted as we knew we wanted steak! If you’re the type of person who enjoys taking 15-20 minutes having to read through a 4-page menu, this is not that place. The menu was simple and straight to the point, which we liked a lot. They focused on what they excelled at and thats exactly what we got! We both got the ribeye and it came out on a sizzling plate topped with sauteed mushrooms. It was tasty, perfectly seasoned, and mouthwateringly delicious. It was so juicy that my bf went home with some of it on his shirt. And let me tell you about the apple pie a la mode!!! Good god! It was so ridiculously good! It’s definitely a must try. Kathie and Glenn’s is only 2.5 miles away from our house and after tonight’s dinner, it just became our “Go To Steakhouse”. But with how flavorful and satisfying our meal was it would still be our “Go To” even if it was 25 miles away. We will most definitely be...

5 Star experience, start to finish! This is the "real deal" in sizzling steaks, Jersey-Style, folks! The NY Strip came out on metal & wood, just a sizzlin' away! Served by the ENTIRE STAFF, from owner, Kathie to 2 great servers, they treated the dining area as they would their dining rooms at home...with a ginormous crowd! The bar area has booths lining it for a real "Mom & Pop" feel we ALL miss like hell! (Provided we were ever fortunate enough to experience it!) The "House Cheesesteak" IS filet mignon, with peppers, onions & mushrooms, grilled to perfection. French Onion Soup was delish. Tons of mozzarella, nice, deep brown broth...yummy! Kathie made our night by briefly giving us the restaurant's background, which dates back to 1952! Highly, HIGHLY recommend Kathie & Glen's Steakhouse for a REAL steak dinner. Oh, baked potato & salad included with entree` Prosperous 2019, Kathie! May you continue the tradition your family started!...

This Steakhouse is a must!! Tonite was our first sit down dinner. I had done at takeout once prior a year ago. The Sizzzzzilinnnnn 20oz Rib-eye was Spectacular! Steaks are cut and made to order!! Super cool! Salad and baked potato was very fresh and delicious! We met Miss Kathie a lovely lady I might add and she told us all about the 200 year history of the building and the different names of the establishments over decades, showed us all the pictures and stories!! The best one is about a bird that once upon a time decades ago was quite a character! I forgot his name … i wanna say Red?! Well he still sits on a branch above the Bar!! I felt Great Vibes in that establishment!! Can’t wait to go back and I’m quite sure it will...
