Tucked away like a well-kept secret, Kimmie’s Café feels like the kind of place you accidentally stumble into and then wonder how you ever lived without. The space manages to be both modern and cozy—sleek lines softened by warm lighting and the hum of quiet conversation. It’s the kind of atmosphere that invites you to stay longer than you planned, maybe open your laptop, maybe just people-watch over another cup of coffee.
But the real showstopper? The Cuban sandwich. Perfectly pressed, the bread has that golden crunch that gives way to layers of tender pork, melted Swiss, and just enough mustard to wake your taste buds. It’s classic comfort, elevated with a chef’s confidence. You can tell there’s love behind it—not just a recipe, but intention.
Kimmie’s doesn’t scream for attention; it earns it. Between the thoughtful plating, the friendly staff who actually remember your order, and the way time slows down while you’re there, it feels like a café that understands the art of the pause.

They also offer a great selection of Uncle Louie G ice cream & Italian ice, which is perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth. Can’t go wrong with the chocolate jelly ring Italian ice! The coffee is hands down some of the best around. Even the iced chai tea latte is my favorite.

The venue was very empty when we had visited, so I too am perplexed how this mix-up had happened. Overall though, it was a very pleasant experience with good food - will definitely...
