Starbucks — Restaurant in Walnut

Went here for the first time yesterday as I was in the area and had an hour to spare... my overall experience of this Starbucks was 3/5 OK!

When I walked in, no one said hi or acknowledged that I was there (totally fine) and no one was in line either. I was standing there looking at the menu but it didn't look like anyone was going to take my order so I decided to sit at a table and just order via the mobile app haha.

I ordered a tall iced chai tea latte with soy milk. The mobile app said it would be ready for pickup in ~7 minutes after I ordered it and within 3 minutes of me ordering it, I noticed a drink that looked like mine was made and placed on the counter! I was too lazy to check to see if it was mine though because I was thinking a barista would shout out my name. But no one ever did... so by the time the 7 minute was up/estimated pickup via the mobile app, I went up to the counter and saw that it was indeed my drink! Not a big deal, I guess this location doesn't say mobile orders out loud like a few other Starbucks locations I have been to.

Overall, I don't have any complaints. I used Wifi for an hour, got a drink, sat inside and enjoyed the nice cool AC (it was 100F yesterday). The bathrooms were clean. During my time there on my laptop, the baristas sounded nice--I can hear their interactions with drive through orders and they sound very friendly and lively. It was just interesting how they don't say the names of mobile orders when they are ready and how no one acknowledged/noticed I was there and wanting to order...

Come back again to chill b/c last experience was good. But not today :( Advice? Don't order anything out of ordinary here.

want 1/4 pound coffee & was denied because they "don't have the bag". Ended up getting half a pound in sandwich bag & didn't call me when it's ready... I don't get it. I don't mind the sandwich bag at all but would much prefer 1/4lb especially of all you have is a sandwich bag. The cashier was proud & not friendly, & obviously didn't know coffee! Anyone who knows coffee knew ordering in small batch is the way to ensure freshness (hello?!!) She doesn't know the cashier machine too!! And she makes it seems like I'm holding the line when it is her doesn't know her way around the machine... Counter was not clean. Bathroom... anyhow, SO disappointed.

BTW, used the app for the first time here & still not getting my order when the line is gone (others were called when their to-go order is ready). It's either not my day or just not this location.

Gave 2 star out of loyalty but it's really a 1 star...

At the moment of entering the Starbucks , a smoothing sensations are full of my body . Not knowing of the temptating of variety coffee unique smells or the staffs welcoming smiles . I am enjoying each Starbucks visit. The service room is cozy and spacious. The design of each table give me privacy doing my own business. Each staff member is friendly,welcoming and appreciated it . They are preparing each my orders with passions , skills ,speed and precisions. Every time, I order Cheese Danish , its deliciousness always cheers me up , and when I order the spicy latte , its favors power me through a rough day . Most of all, please don't start with me the cookie crumble Frapand ice coffee. It is my motivation reward when I achieve my goal. This drink taste so so good with unique flavors and not yet too sweet . This location is very convenient in parking , outdoor settings , drive through orders . So what is your favorite? Do you think I am addicted...
