My favorite place to have brunch whenever I'm in the area. I love the whole vibe of the cafe/coffee shop and the servers are always so polite and helpful. It's definitely an experience that you don't normally get in coffee shops. Their food and drinks are delicious and very reasonably priced. I wish I lived closer so I could visit every week. You order and pay at the counter and take a seat at any available table either indoors or outdoors. It does get pretty crowded on the weekends pretty fast, so if you want an indoor table, I'd suggest coming early. During my second visit, I had ordered a strawberry ice cream cake as my choice of dessert. Halfway through my meal, they realized that they had been out of that but it was not communicated to me when I had paid. They apologized and I was understanding, so I picked the other dessert choice that I had in mind. Maybe it was because we were so understanding and nice about it, or their service is just that superb, but they felt so apologetic that they gave us an additional dessert on the house. It was a very kind gesture of them even though we had reassured them that the little mistake was fine. It's rare to see such great level of service like that these days. If you're looking for a cozy spot to eat brunch or catch up with family and friends, I highly recommend this spot. You won't be disappointed with their food, drinks, and of course, service!
|| L O C A T I O N / P A R K I N G || -Located in a business complex next to We Love Broth -Cross Streets are Valley Blvd and S Lemon Ave. -Plenty of parking throughout the business complex. It does get packed so you may need to park a little further for a spot during peak hours.
|| F O O D / D R I N K S || Mushroom Toast - So darn delicious! There's a generous amount of sauteed mushrooms on top of the toast. Perfect for mushroom lovers. I got this again for my second visit because I couldn't stop thinking about it!
Smoked Salmon Benedict - Reasonably priced compared to other nearby brunch places that serve the same thing. A good amount of smoked salmon per benedict. Simply delicious!
Taiwanese Sausage Panini - Who knew Taiwanese sausages in a panini would be a delightful combo? The panini was warm and crisp on the outside. It was very addictive to eat. It makes me want to try the other Taiwanese Sausage entrees the next time.
The Aroma Trio - Definitely recommend this if it's your first time or you're unsure which dessert to try first. It's a three flavored mousse cake, and one of these flavors is hopefully bound to be one of your faves. I was pleasantly surprised by the pumpkin one. I was glad the pumpkin flavor wasn't overbearing with spices you'd find when tasting a pumpkin pie. The coffee flavored cake was good and was my favorite. Not too sweet. The raspberry was good, but a little too sweet (compared to the other two) for my liking.
Blueberry Cheesecake - Comes with the blueberry sauce on the side. It's a beautiful slice of cheesecake, and what's even better is that it's so delicious and addictive. Luckily, the cheesecake and the sauce aren't too sweet. What I find with blueberry desserts is that it may run a little sweet but I was glad to know it wasn't the case here. I can see why it's a popular choice!
Rose Latte & Lavender Latte - Not too sweet and overbearing with floral flavor. The coffee flavor is somewhat strong for me.
*All Drinks come with these homemade crackers with jam (?) Super delicious and a nice addition...
Read moreThis place is great! I was trying to find a place for breakfast with my wife, and she mentioned that she used to visit this place before the expansion, and remembered that they had good coffee. I can say that they also have good food and dessert as well! It is quite big, with an outside patio, and the style reminds me of Taiwanese Restaurants from Taiwan. where the food, drinks are good, as well as the excellent service. When you arrive you order first. You can scan a QR code for the menu, but the guy who helped us take our order was so helpful. It is always great to have someone work that knows all the food and recommended us not only food but also dessert.
Food So this is what we ordered: Miso Pasta- this was really good with the cheesiness, zucchini and mushrooms. I only wished they had a version with meat, but it was delicious. Mushroom Benedict - this dish was quite good, I would say not to completely expect what a Benedict dish would be, as the sauce didn’t really seem like the traditional hollandaise sauce, with runny poached egg, it had its own style with a sort of sweet to it. Hard to describe, but it was quite good, just don’t expect it to be a traditional Eggs Benedict. Hot Oatmilk Latte Sea Salt Iced Latte The coffee was strong and amazing. The hot coffee also comes with these two small crackers, which complimented well with the coffee. Taro Dessert- packed with Taro, the crust was great with the warm taro. Not too sweet
The decor of this place was awesome, would want to hang out here and have some coffee. Very unique, and all the people helping to serve had a certain theme outfit, and we’re all extremely nice. Def looking forward to come back soon, I saw someone order a meatball pasta, can’t wait to give that as well as items and desserts a try!...
Read moreI love the vibe and glad to see they expanded since the day of their grand opening (I used to study here quite a bit when they first opened). But, as much as I like the atmosphere, the prices here are steep. Lol.
I came recently here to treat my dad and fam for brunch (father's day). I had forgotten that it was order at the counter and seat yourself. They currently still have outdoor dining available allowing for more tables because even though they were busy, there were still tables open to sit.
We ordered 5 meals and 3 drinks and it came out to almost $100, which I thought was a little shocking (I can't help it, I spent the same amount on mother's day and I got 22 dishes at another restaurant LOL). $100 dollars and everything was served in to-go boxes... ¯(ツ)/¯ The $6 drinks we ordered were also only 16 ounce to-go's... For $6, I wish we got more. You also have to remember to order water before you sit too.
But I will give them that their food is still good since my family enjoyed it, although the complaint they had was that the portion wasn't enough, my dad and grandmother were still hungry after the meal.
Overall, just the value for the portion wasn't the greatest, my wallet is still hurting. Lmfaooo. (20% tip and I sat myself, went to get the food myself, threw away my finished boxes and put the tray up...
