Bear Cafe and Lounge on Main — Restaurant in Walterboro

We chose this place because of the reviews but it's not worth the money or the long wait for the food . We got fried pickles, for the price you get only a couple pickles 😅. They came in a little bowl you get salsa in . My husband got 8 wings. I got a chef salad, it look good at first but they put old lettuce on the bottom and some fresh on over it 🤢 also found a couple hair's after I already been eating it . We went to this place because of the good reviews. We were very disappointed! We both had hamburgers and fries. The burgers are only cooked 1 way which is well done. The fries were very good. Chicken wings were good but very small. It was in a warehouse type atmosphere which didn't feel like a restaurant at all. There was a very shady barbershop across the hall with kids screaming and guys just sitting around. They also charged 80 cents for each water. Ridiculous. If they are trying to get on their feet with business they're not going to do...

Just finished a delightful lunch at Bear Café and Lounge on Main! Friendly, welcoming Southern hospitality with sweet iced tea! I had fried oysters which were plentiful, fat, juicy and fried to perfection. The onion rings were big, sweet onions, a delight in every bite! My husband enjoyed plump, tasty honey mustard wings and a burger stacked with pickles, onions, lettuce and cheese.
