We came in at around 2:10 PM. there were only a couple of people in front of me. The older lady behind the counter asked me twice what I was ordering and appeared to be a little hard of hearing. She proceeded to throw up her arms and the young teen/twenty something took over. She asked me to repeat my order, which I did and the other lady was still standing there and proceeded to snap at me and told me the young lady asked me what I wanted and seemed quite irritated that I wasn't answering. However, not only had I answered, the younger lady had already keyed the order in and had to tell the older lady that she got it. While I was there placing the order, someone from the back kitchen was yelling trying to get someone to answer them. The crowd was slow and steady for about 10 minutes but not large at all and there were at least 5 people working, so being short staffed did not seem to be an issue. I stood there waiting while several customers came in, including a family of at least 7 came in and everyone received their order within about five minutes, except for my husband and I and the original man that was there before me. A Door Dash lady came in to pick up an order. She was yelled at and told she needed to wait her turn and they would put in the order. I waited for about 25-30 minutes before asking about my order and the other gentleman's order and was treated rudely again. At around 40 minutes, I asked to speak to a manager. The nice young man came and asked me about the order and I requested to just get my money back. He said no problem, but my order was coming right out. At this point, the other man had already gotten his order and only one other couple was waiting, in addition to the door dash lady and myself. The manager stepped away and while he was gone the person on the line finishing my order and the two that were taking orders were talking about me and saying that I was rude to make them cook and then wanting my money back. I told them I could hear them and what they were saying and I did not appreciate it. They continued to talk to and at me from behind the equipment. I explained that based on what I had seen and heard, I no longer felt safe eating my meal due to my suspicion of the possibility of their tampering with it. When I left, there was an older couple waiting and aggravated because the staff had refused to take a gift card they had been given because this Wendy's would only accept cash! and the Door Dash lady was told her order had not even been started yet, but they were getting ready to start it! She had already been there 20 minutes or more This is totally unacceptable. I have worked in the food industry and owned my own restaurant and now teach high school students to work in the industry! You should be ashamed that you are taking Dave Thomas' prized company and promoting this place as if he would tolerate or accept this poor quality, attitude, work ethic. It is down right embarrassing. I hope Wendys pulls your franchise. They can...
Read moreThere was both good and bad within this restaurant. The woman taking our order was very kind but the food took a long time to come out and the fries were hard (not crispy, hard dead fries that should not have been served). There was no AC in the restaurant and many of the employees were sweating, we opted to eat in our vehicle even though we ordered inside due to the horrendous tables, the exhausting heat, and the overall dirty restaurant. When ordering you could see the kitchen itself was dirty and gross, the bathrooms were less than adequate, felt more dirty after exiting the bathroom when I went in to wash my hands before eating. I'll say the chili here was better than the chili I've had at other Wendy's, it was a tad more spicy which was fantastic but was not served with crackers, sour cream, or anything of the sort as per the usual at other Wendy's. The bacon was also good, the right amount of crispy with the perfect flavor. They only had chocolate frosty's which is okay but I've never experienced this occurrence at any other Wendy's, it's either the machine isn't working at all (which is rare) or they have both flavors. They didn't have any baked potatoes which was disappointing as I was preferring to have that over the fries as I figured by the shape of the eroding restaurant that the food wouldn't be that great but they couldn't mess up a baked potato, they were disappointing before we even got our food. By the time my family and I had finished eating there were people in the building who had arrived just after we ordered still waiting on their food and the drive through was hardly moving. Given the town which it was located in I suppose I could understand why the Wendy's was only as good as the environment surrounding it. In conclusion, this was the worst Wendy's experience I've ever had but on the bright side- the chili was good, the bacon was delicious, and the front desk worker was nice; however, I think those are really my only positives of this...
Read moreJust go on past this stop! Dr. Pepper & Coke was fine but other customers had issues with the tea. Meat and bread on burger was dry and not very hot. Chicken nuggets dry and cold. Fries were ok, but not hot…I guess you cannot mess up a Wendy’s fry. Not sure why the food was not hot as they were hardly taking the orders from people inside and drive thru had a wait. Not sure how many people were in the back but the one girl out front was putting orders together and taking walk in orders every so often….not many orders were leaving front counter and she rarely took orders at register, so maybe she was at window too. Could hear at least 2 guys voices and maybe 1 more female.🤷🏼♀️
While waiting one customer came inside after he said he waited 10 mins in outside line…he didn’t get much further inside. I watched at least 6 different families get in line in the store and leave when no one was taking orders or rarely taking orders. I placed my order online when I walked in and the line was backed up. It took 27 minutes for Two of the 4 for 4 Jr cheeseburger combos plus 1 other combo without changes. One Junior cheeseburger had a no ketchup request. Thank goodness I checked it before leaving the counter because my daughter would have had a burger she wouldn’t be able to eat. The one working the counter questioned me about it when I told her it had been requested no ketchup. She questioned it and asked for receipt. When I showed her the receipt she huffed as she took the burger. I was patient and never fussing about it; just told her this one was supposed to be no ketchup. Wished we would have done the Mexican sit down dinner that took us 35 minutes on the last trip vs the 27 minutes at Wendy’s for truly...
