D'Angelo Grilled Sandwiches — Restaurant in Waltham

While i like the ambiance of the store, i left with mixed feelings about the sandwich. I rated it a four on their website but now when i think about it, it's alright. For a student on a budget, the sandwich looked like it needed some CPR to put some life back into it. If sad life was a sandwich, it would look like the steak sandwich at D'Angelo. Plain, vanilla just about right..no passion, no intention.

On a less comical note, there are things to like about the sandwich. The bread is fresh, the meat is tender and the cheese is melty. It won't knock your socks off. It's like that commercial ad that comes with each game. You couldn't care less what they peddling but the recall ain't great. It won't keep you up at night...

Haven't been to this store in person but frequently order catering from this store. I am exceedingly impressed with their willingness to deliver in the town of Newton where I have a lot of business clients even though this is outside their delivery area. They've gone out of their way to accommodate my organization. Food is always delivered on time and in good condition. Would come here all the time for my sub needs. Went in today to grab dinner and always get the same deal which would involve the cashier (young kid or owner usually there) putting the coupon in for me. There was an older gentleman at the register and said I had to use the app. I explained that my wife and I have been coming here for many years and never had an issue. I left and spent my money across the street at subway instead. If that rule is written in stone, fine by me. It's your business, your rules, I just won't go there anymore. Plenty of other...
