THIS PLACE IS A DUMPSTER FIRE.
Just got to the one in Arsenal Yard or Lexington worth the trip! I promise you night and day!!!! I promise you wont regret it.
The management here is incompatent and give just as terrible customer serivce as thier employees. Who always seem to be having a grand olde time while everyone is standing waiting. They ignore everyone in the store and give you attitude when you wait 30 plus min for a you pick two. They do this to customers and delivery service people.
Once confronted about there lack of customer service they dodge accountablity and brush you off as a rude customer and tell thier employees dont worry about it.
The managers here all try to protect each other and hide complaints because the store pulls in enough money so THEY DO NOT CARE. They do not want to do thier job.
Most orders are wrong, food is stale. And customer service is almost non existant like the chance of you getting your food in a timely maner. Well done stakes at applesbess come out faster.
No one dines inside because it. It essentailly a TO GO panera bread cause EVERYONE HATE THE WAIT TIME AND SERVICE. Inside is alway dark and dingy unwelcoming like thier to go counter staff. When your first greated its great. Then downhill from there.
Its the only panera in the area so customers do not have any other option!!! Literally the worse panera I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. I have been a customer for 15 years have gone to many accros the country. This one takes the cake as THE WORST OUT OF ANY ESTAMBLISMENT I HAVE BEEN TO.
After looks at all the reviews it seems they def are putting fake revies up trying to cover up all the actaul truth about thier store.

Read moreI have a severe nut allergy, and today when I went to Panera in Waltham I ordered a tuna salad sandwich on the kiosk (they didn't have anyone at the register). In the special instructions I wrote "nut allergy" as I always do. My order was to-go so I picked up my sandwich when it was ready at the counter, and drove home. As I arrived home, I took the sandwich out of the bag to have lunch, and it said "Napa" on the sandwich wrapper, which I thought was the Napa Chicken Salad Sandwich with almonds, and I was correct.
Had I not read handwritten words on the packaging or if I was a child and couldn't read what it had said, I would have gone into anaphylactic shock. The good news, is that I am fine, as I didn't eat anything.
The bad news is that this is a gross mistake on Panera, and the response that I got from the manager, Yahya, when I called, was unsatisfactory. He apologized, and said that he yelled at the person preparing the sandwiches who made the mistake, but to me that isn't enough. He somewhat excused her as well saying "they were very busy" (they didn't seem to me to be that busy, just careless). I explained that she needed allergen training, so that she could understand the horrific repercussions of her not being careful when preparing food for customers with severe allergies. He didn't respond to that, and offered for me to come and pick up another sandwich (I was already home). No, I do not want another sandwich, and I will never be patronizing Panera again after their error and poor response to a very...
Read moreThis was without a doubt the worst dining experience I have ever had. My fiancee and I arrived at around 6:00 PM on a Wednesday night. After waiting 15 minutes in a line of 4 orders, we were told that they didn't have some of the soups, some breads and absolutely no french baguettes for soup. We ordered around those menu items and then finally completed the transaction. I had to ask 3 times to get our table buzzer as our cashier was confused as to what it was for.
We then sat down and waited for our food. I noticed that this Panera actually had food runners, which is interesting considering most just have you wait for your name to be called and then you walk up to get your food. We waited 20+ minutes for the server, who I witnessed laying her head down near food, tapping soup bowls with non-gloved hands, and failing to stop touching her face and then plates, deliver our meals. They forgot my fiancee's side of chips and her coffee. Our soup is luke warm, and after 10 minutes or so, they bring out her coffee. It is chunky. How do you make coffee chunky?
My sandwich was sub-par, my chili cold and my cookie dry. My fiancee's cookie was supposed to be red velvet, but it tasted like an ash tray. When we finished eating (rather gave up with how bad it was) we put out plates near the trash. I say near because there were so many dirty plates stacked up that everything would avalanche if you touched it.
Overall, I would rather step on a needle found on Revere Beach than come back to this...
