This Wendy's location has consistently been some of the worst drive thru experiences I've had in my life. The person taking the order is barely audible through the speaker, they frequently repeat back incorrectly placed order items, and when asked for questions or clarifications in the orders either no response is given or I'm just ignored and told the total order price and to go to the next window. At the cashier window the service member is never able to communicate or answer any questions to confirm order or bill correctness. They just repeat the order total and ask for payment. Then at the final service window the staff is usually curt or just short spoken in general and have more than once closed the window on my face when I ask clarification questions about my order.
This particular visit I was visiting to use my free frosty promo keychain and asked if they had one flavor and was met with an unclear response from the speaker. When I asked them to repeat I heard a one word answer "discontinued" and nothing else. So I went to place my order of two drinks, one of which being a coke. I also ordered the available flavored frosty and mentioned my promo keychain. They said nothing and I was not sure if they heard me and if it would be applied to the order. When the order taker repeated the order they said I ordered a root beer instead of coke. I said "no not root beer, coke" and also tried to confirm that the coupon would be applied and was only responded to with the order total. Pulling up to the cashier window I asked to clarify that the promo was applied and presented them with the keychain. I was waved off and asked for the order payment of the total with no confirmation of the promo being applied. When I asked again to confirm they sent me to the next window. At the next window I was told that it would be applied and asked for payment. I was surprised my bill was still so high so I asked to confirm the price of the large sodas I ordered and they just kept asking for payment and after being asked multiple times finally gave an answer. Finally I received my order of two sodas and the frosty with no straws, spoon or napkins. When we asked for the straws and receipt they were brought over with the window closed swiftly behind them. We left.
Guess what soda I received.... Root beer, not the coke I ordered and that was listed on my receipt......
Read moreOn 11/29/2023, I placed a mobile order for my wife and I to be picked up by the drive thru. When I arrived there was a line at the drive thru which is not a problem, but it took 10 minutes to get to the speaker. When I pulled up to the speaker, no one responded for another 5 minutes.
When someone finally spoke, I told them about my order and told me to pull around to the second window, so I did. When I got to the window, I was told that they had a call out and it would take a little bit longer to make my food and I was asked to wait in the parking spot across from the window and they call me over when it was ready.
I waited in that spot for about 15 minutes. I noticed other cars in the drive thru coming by the window and yelling at the window while driving by. After 15 minutes, I saw another person who also parked walk up to the window and the manager told him the restaurant was closed. At the same time, I saw other employees, including the person who told me to wait, leave the restaurant.
I went to the window and the manager started yelling right away that they were closed. I explained the drive thru person told me to wait. The manager said that she does not know why they told me to wait. The person who was on shift to make sandwiches did not show up. There was no one there to make sandwiches and they had to close. She told me I had to call 1-800 phone number to get a refund.
This location has started to slip and fall apart from the top down. The past three orders I did get, they have been missing food or been given the wrong food. But one thing I do not understand is how you have a staff of 6 to 7 people, and no one is trained to make the food accepted one person. Not even the Manager could flip a burger. It is really bad to only have one employee being able to do a task, especially the most important one. This location needs to train everyone on everything or needs a new staff...
Read moreIf i could give fewer stars, I promise you I would. Went thru drive thru today around 140pm. No other cars in drivethru, and fewer than 6 people visible inside the lobby (seemingly 3 waiting on orders and 3 waiting to order).. i sat at the speaker for almost a full minute with nobody saying anything so i asked if someone was there. After a few moments more of silence i got ready to leave when suddenly a small voice made a noise. I asked if i could order, and the voice said "um yes". I asked for two items, the person behind the speaker then proceded to speak but in an almost completely incoherent way. None of the words sounded like words so i apologized and asked for her to repeat it. Again, mumbled. So i said i would instead go inside. As soon as i entered the lobby i could see the same people waiting yet not a single employee working a register. A line of now 5 people had formed including me, to order yet every employee behind the counter was half assedly meandering around the kitchen. 3 appeared to actually be working while everyone else was either trying to look busy, or simply walking around aimlessly. Not sure who is doing the hiring there, but great job... you managed to find the most lazy and incompetent people who cant manage to do the work theyre being paid for (granted the pay is likely horrible and low, and i sympathize but dont take ur issues with ur job out on...
