LUNA'S MEXICAN RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Walworth

This place is great! Very bright, clean, and food is out of this world good. I have been in town long enough to see I believe 3 restaurants give this place a go and none of them had me wanting to come back. Now, however, I find myself talking to co workers trying to justify going there for the 2nd or 3rd time per week. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food at a very fair price, check them out! Also, not many places have tamales every day, but they do and they are amazing! The grocery store attached also has very good produce and specialty Mexican items....

GREAT authentic Mexican food. Connected to the grocery/market, you can enter from the market (the strip mall store front) or the side street door direct to the restaurant. Coming from the Chicago suburbs and having grown up in a Chicago Latino neighborhood, this Mexican food is authentic. We had tacos and quesadillas. The highlight were the refried beans, they were definitely cooked by recipe and were super yummy (and I’m not a fan of beans!?). Love it! Between the grocery and the restaurant, they seem to have just about everything someone could want. We frequently order a big taco/burrito buffet -- beans, chicken, veggies, tortillas, and so on. They always do a great job. Everything looks and tastes fresh and is a big hit with our family, which ranges from toddlers to octogenarians.

Only complaint/suggestion is that the appearance is a little tired, but that's a minor thing when the...
