Meggy Moo's Dairy Ripple — Restaurant in Walworth

The food quality is not the same as what Dari Ripple had and more over you can't get a receipt if you're picking up for other people and they do not make shakes with hard ice cream. What type of ice cream stand does not make shakes out of the different types of ice cream offered! Also, the staff is less than polite most of the time. There are a couple of the girls that have been nice but that's not what we regularly experience when we stop or call in. It's very unfortunate as a local because we used to enjoy stopping but we've gone from at least once a week to maybe twice all season.

In response to your snarky reply, your food is not an upgrade, your employees are not polite even when you are nothing but polite to them, syrups and add in items to soft serve ice cream does not taste like regular ice cream by any stretch of the imagination (Shake or not.) and you never replied to your lack of available receipts. It's very unfortunate that as an owner you would not take negative feedback a little more seriously! I'm happy to give a good review if deserved. Sorry your business lacks...

We visited here 8-18-21 guessing around 2:00 P.M. Some customers… but not a lot of customers at this time. The ice cream was decent. Nothing to write home about. Service was a little slow. Again nothing out of the norm during these times. But the reason for the low star rating was because of the young man that was mopping. My wife and I were sitting at a picnic table in the back. There was another older couple out back as well. We observed the young man come out of the back door and retrieve a mop that was in a bucket. We heard the young man shout the “F” bomb from inside several times. I’d be willing to bet the rest of the employees were a little scared/worried unless that is what they are used to hearing. Then the back door slammed shut. I’m glad there wasn’t any young kids around. How un-appropriate for this to happen. Once you notice meggy moos has opened its doors; summer has officially begun! This place has all the usual summer treats from burgers to corn dogs to ice cream and chocolate shakes. Such a fun place to visit on a hot summer night when no one feels like cooking or to ride over with the top down of your car and get ice cream. I grew up here and this place has gone by many names but the fun and excitement of coming to this location has continued thru the years. Meggy moos has an area where you must place your order and an area where u pick up. Your name will be called and then it's up to you weather you would like to eat at one of their picnic tables or take it to go. The kids who work inside are all very polite and efficient.
