I've been a member of Superior for 15 years. Today, they denied me an auto loan for a $9,999 car valued by Superior themselves at $11,000. Understandable, if I had bad or no credit, but I don't. I have a VantageScore 3.0 score of 770 with a perfect payment history on literally everything going back 6 years, to when my credit file started. Over the last 5 years, I've had 3 credit cards with Superior, each upgraded from the one before it. I've had my credit limit doubled by Superior roughly every year, have a zero balance, and use my card regularly. I've had 4 different personal loans from them over the last 6 years. I also currently have multiple other accounts with them, all in good standing, with direct deposit there for over 13 years. I have multiple other accounts on my credit report, again, with perfect payment history. I've been at my job for over a decade, lived at my residence for almost a decade, and make plenty enough money to pay a loan like this. While I don't have a mortgage, even my rent payments are reported with Boom. You literally can't play the credit game any better than I already have. The job of any financial institution is to facilitate the needs of its customers for what they need most. In this regard, Superior has utterly failed, despite a perfect relationship had for over 15 years. If you want to use them for your long term financial progress, you can't. Find someone else.
