Came in on Sunday 6/2 for breakfast with my mother . Let me just start off by saying if I could give a zero star rating I would . We came in and got seated very quickly but sat there for about fifteen minutes before anyone came over . I could see the girls that worked there chatting and gossiping but we weren't getting service ? When our server finally came over she apologized saying the hostess never let her know she had a another table . I watched the hostess tell her after seating us she got another table . The dishonesty was a turn off right away. She could clearly tell we were put off by her comment and she was very short with us the rest of our time there . We got our food within twenty minutes of ordering , but the entire time we were waiting for it we could hear commotion coming from the back of the house . Loud music and yelling . When we started eating it was relief because we were starving . I ordered a fruit cup that had a black/reddish hair in it and my mothers english muffin that's supposed to be grilled was so soggy . At this point we ate what we could and wanted to leave . The atmosphere of the entire restaurant just wasn't what we were looking for . We got the bill and even though the server could clearly tell we didn't eat some of our meals , she never asked how everything was , she didn't take anything off the bill, I could barely understand her handwriting , and she didn't let us know how we were supposed to pay . Leave it on the table ? Go up front ? I waited another fifteen minutes with my card on the table whall I can still hear conversations and music going on in the back . She ran our card said thank you and walked away again. I wasn't even given a chance to voice any of my concerns . Upon walking out I overheard one of the severs say she was the manager . She had black/reddish hair . I was immediately disgusted that acting management could be so careless about something I was charged an up charge for . We left and we don't plan to return . We have been coming here every summer and I've never experienced anything like this here . Not sure what happened to our wonderful go to...
Read moreMy single star rating is not due to quality of the food. The food is great and has been for years. I have been to going on and off for years , to if not all most of their locations. My issue is with actual service or lack of on 6/14/21. I had called exactly at 1:42Pm to place a to go order. Though we did want to eat in, I realized it would be cutting it close to arrive around 1.50pm to eat inside. To my surprise the server who answered was reluctant to even take my to go order, stating " We are closed" My reply was " I thought you close at 2?, It is not even quarter of". Then I got" Well the grill is off". I basically had to beg to place an order. From my experience working in all sorts of restaurants big and small over the years. Just because you stop serving at a particular time doesn't mean you walk out the door at that time. Also I thought businesses in particular restaurants were hit very hard over the past 16 months due to a pandemic!!!! So to hear someone basically not wanting to or willing to take a food order 18 minutes before the establishment closes is pretty lame and says much about HER, yes it was a female server who's name I recall but will not put down completely it started with a R. well R either has made plenty of $ this past year or or just isn't aware of folks struggling and doesn't realize how lucky she is to have a job, and work art a place were members of the community want to support . Needless to say when I arrive about 4/5 minutes after she reluctantly placed my order , there were people that had not even received there food So she also lied the grill wasn't off., not cool R to tell a lie to get of...
Read moreVery unpleasant experience this morning (august 5, 2023)at your location in wareham, ma. Assistant manager on duty was extremely rude and unprofessional. Upon entering the building asking for a seating for two i was politely asked by a hostess to sit wherever we were comfortable and pointed to the left towards a completely empty dining room. I walked over and selcted my desired seating for my father and I. I took a brief walk outside to get my fathers coat as he was a little cold inside. Upon returning an acting manager removed my father from our chosen seat to a booth adjacent to a window a/c unit blowing directly on him.. she says "you can just turn that off". This was not acceptable for me. I instructed my father to get up and sit where we had already decided that we were the most comfortable sitting for breakfast. This caused an immediate controversy and response from acting management "this table has to be reserved for a six top party in case they come" "thats the way it is" "if you dont like it you can leave" this acting manager went above and beyond her duties in all of the worst ways possible.. they were many other options that she could have went with on trying to handle this situation. As a long time customer I'm completely shocked and dismayed at the way this was handled. You serve the customers that are in your dining room first.. you can worry about customers that may or may not come later when they arrive... If...
