Firehouse Subs Lake Joy — Restaurant in Warner Robins

We were so happy to get FH Subs at this location since it's a lot closer to home and we generally love the sandwiches and the atmosphere. Once it opened everything went well and for some time it has been a great place to eat. The customer service was great as was the food but the last 2 times we visited we had less than desirable experiences. :-(

About 3 weeks ago I met a friend there for lunch at my suggestion. I ordered a sandwich and he ordered a salad. Both came out about the same time but there were no utensils to eat the salad. When I went up to the counter and asked could we get some, I was told that they were out, Really. It would have been good to know when he ordered the salad so that he could have made another choice. One of the employees went next door to Freddy's and got a fork.

Sunday before last we went in to get some lunch after church. Once we got to the counter we were told that they were only taking to go orders and inside dining was closed, he did not give a reason why. In addition, I always get my credit card receipts after every purchase but the young man said they were out of paper. We ordered and paid anyway and went to get our drinks and more than half the choices were out...we were both very disappointed.

I am not sure what has happened to this usually awesome place but one more time like the last 2 and we won't be going back. We will chose a different FH subs since we love the sandwiches. I sincerely hope that the issues we've experienced lately get...

Terrible firehouse location. Decided to stop through the drive through to get dinner for the family. Would have called it in but answering the phone doesnt seem to be in their job description. The guy taking my order asked "is that it?" Every single time I spoke. After I politely finished ordering, I drive up to the window, pay and proceed to wait over 25 minutes for the food. Different employee comes rushing to the window says sorry for the wait and hands me a bag and dashes away before I can even say that she didn't give me any drinks, or chips. I wait another 5 minutes for someone to come back, nobody does. I park my car walk in and see a whopping 4 customers inside, grab chips, make my wife her drink, and drive home. Open the bag, to find not only are there not the extra pickles I asked for but none at all. Not a single one. Food looks underwhelming to say the least. Please just go to a different location or sandwich chain, and do not waste your time...
