I ordered online from the the website last night, like I always do. I have ordered from Abel's several times and I have never had an issue. I went and picked up my order but when I got home saw that part of my order was missing. I called the restaurant and told them the issue. A manager got on the phone and told me that I could come back and get the missing part of my order or they could deliver the missing part of no charge to me. I told them I did not want to get back out with my baby. The manager said they would deliver the missing part of my order. Before hanging up I asked the manager if he had my address (because he never asked for it). He said that he did and someone would deliver my order shortly. Well, no one never came. I called the restaurant today to let them know that no one came. Instead of trying to resolve the issue and make it right. The young lady put me on hold and came back and said " I spoke to someone and they said that didn't happen. We don't deliver. " I informed her that I didn't need to make that up and that I did speak to someone there last night. The lady on the phone then says there is nothing she can do about it since she wasn't working last night and that I would have to call back at 5 o'clock when the worker from last night comes back in. How is that good customer service? At this point it's not about the missing food, it's about how the situation was handled. I paid for something and didn't get what I paid for. Instead of making the situation right, I was met with rudeness and unprofessional behavior. Which is sad because I have been coming to this...

Dear Abel’s Management Team,
I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding a recent experience at your establishment. I have been a loyal customer for over a year and, until now, have always enjoyed both your food and service. However, my order on May 7, 2025, for the Chuma Plate has caused me to question whether my continued patronage is warranted.
According to your website, the Chuma Plate is listed at $16.99. When my coworker placed the order for me, she was quoted exactly that price. Imagine my surprise when I was charged $20.75, plus tax, resulting in a total of $22.45. Believing there may have been a simple mistake, I called the restaurant immediately to speak with a manager. I was informed that a manager would contact me the following day.
On May 8, 2025, I spoke with a female manager (I regret that I did not catch her name). I explained the discrepancy between the online price and the charge on my bill. Instead of offering an explanation or proposing a resolution, she curtly stated that the in-restaurant price was correct and that the website price was “wrong.” When I asked how this situation could be remedied—given that I had been misled by your own advertising—she offered only a brief apology and insisted there was nothing she could do. When I came back the waiter was awkward and mentioned that I was in the bathroom a really long time and thought I left WHICH IS WEIRD...(WHY WOULD I leave after being seated) 🤔🤔when I wasn't... And keep in mind that I'm a WOMAN and sometimes women may take a while cause at have different things going on..
All I did was asked if a certain person was my waiter and then he was like well you were in the bathroom a really long time and asked I was upset when all I did was ask a question. Lol then I did tell him that the paper towels were extremely thin. And it was automated to come out in very short increments and that's one of the reasons I was in there so long. I was trying to dry my hands and then I suggested to tell management to get thicker paper towels or a dryer and her said well I don't think they care and just brushed it off. Weird encounters but the food was good. The point is if a customer is giving a suggestion just say I'll tell management and don't mention that people are in the bathroom for a long time (it was only 4 min)👀👀...
