Loved ordering delivery pizza from this place for years. Ordered pizza recently and got a text message about an hour and a half later saying a "Dasher" had picked up my order. First of all; an hour and a half for pizza is ridiculous, but now it's been almost two hours and the pizza still isn't here. Second; at what point did I even agree to have a creepy third party rando handling my food? I want somebody employed by the pizza place so they can be held responsible if something goes wrong. Third, if Marcos is gong to make it weird, I'll just save my money and my diet because pizza is the last thing I or most other Americans even need nowadays.
Edit: since the "owner" responded to my last review, I wanted to add that I'd also called the store up last night and all they would do was offer me a "voucher" for a one-topping pizza which wasn't even equivalent. They WOULD NOT refund my money no matter what, even after I told them I'd pursue a chargeback. Attached is a picture of the cold, congealed pizza sitting in my trash can the next morning to prove I didn't eat it.
Edit: I've filed a chargeback. If I lose, I'm going to update my review again and let eveyone know that this place is free to deliver cold, disgusting stranger-danger pizza with impunity, with no repercussions. I also noticed that there were like five low-effort reviews that pushed my bad review down; I'm guessing the owner is just making fake accounts to give themselves 5-stars. I'm not going away. I will file a small claims court case if I have to, because it'll...
Read moreI thought Marcos was great once but haven't had in while so I decided to order last night. I had a delux pizza and "cheezy" bread. The pizza was tolerable the topping looked as if they were thrown on after cook so the toppings fell off and onions and bell peppers weren't cooked. This indicated it wasn't freshly made for me. The cheezy bread wasn't what I wanted it was 95% bread and 5% over cooked cheese. I specifically asked if it came like that and if so I would pass "I'll put in to add extra cheese" (there was no extra cheese)... You are better off going to all American (any location) stars and stripes, or red pepper pizza, all of these places have great pizza and ACTUAL cheesy bread.. Giving two stars because sauce was OK and they brought...
Read moreI don't know how long they've been around, but Marco's popped up out of nowhere on my radar. Their prices are pretty typical, you're not going to find a $5 dollar large as is the craze today, but you can find some good coupons online. The pizza itself is wonderful. I don't have the words to adequately express just exactly what it is, but they have a secret (to me) way of making their cheese, sauce and dough that gives them a leg up on the competition. The real prize here is the seasoning, it makes me want to lick the plate clean. Marco's wouldn't be my first choice for dinning out with friends or date night, but they are definitely number one on take-out or delivery pizza. They are a welcome addition to the pizza circuit...
