Shaking Crab — Restaurant in Warren Park

I’d heard good things about shaking crab and I love seafood. We came in and sat down and no one said anything to us for about 5 minutes. A woman in a coat came from the back and walked around behind the counter a few times, then sat down eating ice cream. She finally looked up and asked if we had been helped. I told her no. She didn’t apologize, but asked for our order. We ordered and she presented the bill, which is usually presented at the end of the meal. Against my better judgment I gave her a tip, hoping that service would get better. A young girl came on and she talked to the woman behind the counter. This girl also started eating some of the ice cream. She stood directly next to us and they continued their conversation for about 20-30 minutes. At one point another customer was ordering and the young girl who was sharing the ice cream continued talking to the server (for lack of a better word), so much that the man said, “are you listening?” After about 20 minutes, while all of this is going on and the server is literally smacking on a cup of ice cream, my daughter asks where our waters were. I asked the server and she finally got them. Another employee brought out food, alerted the woman and sat the food on the counter. After about five minutes, I finally asked if this was our food. She mumbled something about them not telling her, sauntered over to the food and then delivered it to a couple in the back of the restaurant. Although I never asked for takeout, I was happy that our food came packaged to go! The food was decent, but not worth the rest of the foolishness I had to deal with a Shaking Crab. I doubt I...

Love our food. It's just a few of customers that don't agree with my skills and how I rotate at shaking crab but I have a lot of customers that love me. I ignored the bad reviews thinking, oh you can’t please everybody but I wish I would have listened. It was just as they said. I don’t want to bash this place I’m just hoping they read the reviews and fix the issues. I bought a build your own boil with the shaking sauce. There was NO FLAVOR whatsoever. It looked like a bag of greasy dirt. I was very pleased with the amount of food I received especially for the price but I’ve NEVER had a boil taste so bad and I’ve eaten a lot of them. My scallops had absolutely NO TASTE. They’re truly missing the Mark on taste.
