I will give this restaurant 1 at of 10! Today I went to this restaurant with my big family to celebrate my brother and my graduation. Of course we all were very excited to go and eat there because one of my relatives recommended us to go there and they give a lot of complements.
I am not a hater and I hate writing negative reviews but me writing this review today means I am very disappointed. I got very embarrassed front of my dad and my sister in lows family.
To be honest, the restaurant looks very fancy and everything looked organised. The naan was very hot and good but wasn’t enough for everyone. There was variety of drinks and the sweet was great. It was nice of them serving free food to my little sister.
UNFORTUNATELY ALL THE FOOD WAS OLD! The two item rice was cold and old it wasn’t fresh, it was hard to chew. Also the tandoori chicken was worm from outside but very cold from inside which was very disappointing and the food was very little. My parents said the meat was worm and good but I couldn’t eat because there wasn’t enough meat curry We could burly eat anything because all the food tested old and most of them cold the food that we took got west.
The plates were not enough. One of the service people was a quiet rude. I was planning to have another friends gathering next Saturday in this restaurant but after today I don’t think I’ll go there anymore instead I am doing the next event in other restaurant looking for one.
I hope the Manager take my comment into consideration and try to improve it. I am sure there are days where all the food are good and fresh but today...
Read moreFoods were tasty. I really appreciate it. Some issues: 1. Unfortunately, there weren't 32 items which was written in the Facebook post. Also, many dessert pictures are attached which we didn't get today. We got only two desserts! 2. There was no refill. When I arrived, there wasn't kind of no beef. I asked the manager for refilling. In response he simply said that no beef is available now. All are finished. He wasn't sorry at all. 3. On facebook post it is written buffet price is almost $12/person. But we were charged almost $16/person They should include the actual price in their Facebook post if they have any hidden charges.
If these issues are taken care of honestly, I believe they will get good ratings. Overall food tastes well as I mentioned first. However, these issues that I mentioned above should be taken care of. It's USA. Here honesty and full customer satisfaction are the most important things. If you offer 10 items, please put 10 items on Facebook. If price is $16 including all hidden charges, please mention it clearly. Though we faced some issues, I am putting good ratings here as food tastes well and they are new. I believe they will sort out those issues very soon. Best of luck.
Edit: unfortunately, they hide my comment in the Facebook. That represents their dishonesty. Though I gave 4/5 at the very first time considering that they are new And they will improve themselves reading my constructive suggestions. Instead, they hide my comment on Facebook and it clearly indicates their dishonesty. So I am editing my rating from 4 to 1 for...
Read moreThis is an interesting story. I went to this restaurant by mistake.
One of my friend invite us to Shahi Palace restaurant for lunch buffet. I search on google and this restaurant comes first, so I went there.
Restaurant was awful, dark and not clean. Table cloth looks very old.
The restaurant was fully empty though it was prime time for lunch. We sat there for half an hour and this whole time I was the only customer. Seems like, they hardly gets any customer.
Though it was a lunch buffet, I ate only one Samosa and one tandoori chicken (because I was waiting for my friend). Both food were cold and not fresh, seems like, those were cooked few days ago.
Not a single server came to my table to ask for water or to grab any dirty dishes.
Half hour later, I came to know my friend went to another restaurant of similar name: 'Shahi Palace Restaurant" which is located at Sterling Heights. Since, I already ate one samosa and one tandoori chicken, they charged me $15 for the buffet. I understand it was my fault, I went to a wrong restaurant. Later I left this restaurant and went to the other "Shahi Palace Restaurant"
I will never recommend this restaurant to any of my friend. Since I visited both Shahi Palace Restaurant on same day, I must say- "Shahi Palace Restaurant" at Sterling Heights are 200% better...
