I went to the first Ramadan and I liked the ifter food. Today, I went there and when I was buying food on the cash area and I felt like the floor is sticky and I told to a short guy with beard and he sharply said it's your shoe problem. Actually it was quite sticky. I told him, do not talk with a customer this way because the customer is most valuable, just listen what they say but he kept his rude behave the same way, there were two customers and I felt like they were getting me what I was trying to say. Anyways, when I get back home, I saw the completely different ordered he gave me and I had to drive like two miles, back and forth 4 miles but he did not say sorry, he just gave my order and received order. He did not say SORRY. The owner should train up them that this is American norms to say sorry if you make mistake, can't do like Bangladeshi or Asian way. When I gave back the wrong food order to him, he said he was busy but actually he was arguing with me, he wasn't busy at all. He just lied in Ramadan day. I ordered a pound Jilabi and he charged me $8 but I doubt he gave me less than a pound because it was a few pieces and he was talking over phone when he was putting those in box. I intended to say but I skipped that he even did not use hand gloves when he was serving food. Please train this employees the way of talking, and if they make mistake say the word 'sorry'. They should learn some common American decent norms and behave. I hope the owner will concentrate on it for the interest of his business. Again, the guy who did misbehave and mistake was a 'short...
Read moreI heard Warren Eats from FB and wanted to taste Bangladeshi style cuisine. Being a lad from West Bengal I went to Warren Eats with a lot of expectation and it was a mixed experience. There are some good and bad ones.
Good things,
The options are plenty. There at least 4-5 chicken items. One of them was chicken fry and another was tandoori. You got two nice beef items. Surprisingly two fish items. Katla Kalia (most probably) and Koi (Climbing Perch), not expected at all. Two rice options Shingara (Samosa) and pasta you can have too. Fuchka as a starter is also there. All in 11.99, most effective one :D Bad things,
When we stared around 12:45 pm mot of the items were not hot, I can say little warm! I expected the food to be hot! Tandoori's flavor was not up to the mark. No chutneys! Katla smelled not good to me. All items tasted in the sweeter side to me. I was expecting lot spicier. All chicken curries tasted almost same! Even the Fish kalia tasted same. No table service (taking the used plates) or drinking glass. One desert item!! :|
There are many things that can be improved without doing much. People can spend a bit more if taste, service and ambience gets better.
In my opinion a good 3/5. You can not complain as far as the price but I hope they can improve quite well. Hope to visit...
Read moreThis place is a hit or miss. I had their chicken roast offer which was advertised with kebabs but they ran out apparently and didn’t say that to me until I checked and mentioned it was missing. They gave me samosas instead from their buffet area. The food was ok - extremely oily however.
I went again and got their $5 chicken biryani offer and it was good.
Went again for their kacchi biryani, and it was horrible. It did not taste fresh at all or anything like kacchi biryani at all. I can agree with the other reviews, the food isn’t fresh. They do reuse lot of their food from previous days buffets which is unacceptable. That’s why they have low prices most likely. They have good marketing and ideas but need to maintain better food quality and make fresh food for people. For example, their sehri buffet has many food items from their Iftar buffet that’s simply being reused after hours of sitting outside. This isn’t good for people’s health.
Prices are great but food quality definitely needs to get better.
Note: some of the 5 star reviews are fake. Multiple people are giving similar reviews to the same establishments. Eat at...
