The Tom Yum soup here is as good as I've had anywhere. Loaded with mushrooms, it smells and tastes great. Springrolls are flaky and delicious as is the coconut curry vegetables and the spicy eggplant which I've had here. Others in my lunch party had the staples Pad Thai and Pad Pak and reported delight. The lunch portion is large enough that you'll get at least two meals from it and the food is almost as good re-heated as it was when it was fresh. Unfortunately, the strip mall location isn't exactly a beautiful garden, and the tables and chairs are clearly not fancy. Neither are all the hand-written signs warning about debit card charges and the like. But the plates and silverware are good quality, the wall-hangings are attractive in the typical and expected Thai fashion, and the service is friendly and fast.

I wholeheartedly recommend them for lunch, either dine-in...

Thai Star is a small and quaint spot with a relaxed, no-frills atmosphere. While the décor feels a bit outdated, it adds to the charm of an established local restaurant that focuses on what truly matters — good food at reasonable prices.

Each meal comes with a spring roll and soup, both of which were absolutely delicious. I ordered the Pad Cashew with added water chestnuts, and it was incredible — I’ve been craving it ever since. My partner had the Pad Prik with shrimp, which was also great, though I’d recommend trying it with beef instead for a richer flavor.

The service was decent, though not particularly warm, but the quality and taste of the food more than made up for it. Overall, Thai Star is a great date spot and a perfect choice for anyone who values authentic, flavorful Thai food over fancy...

The food is good. They give huge portions. But I must point out that the staffs were rude and impatient. Wr went there at 8.30pm they close at 9. We wanted to order carry out , and was looking at the menu. The staffs kept rushing us, got extended rude and impatient. They were trying to hurry us even though the business closes at 9!! Another major income is they don't except credit card under $7!!! It's national shortage of cash die to pandemic.and people don't carry cash now adays anyways. It's very inconsequential and inconsiderate . We are trying trying help small business to rise from the pandemic hir but seems like the staffs don't want to cooperate and make that happen . Very disappointing indeed. Only having good food is not enough when your customer service is less...

Fantastic thai! Good thai places always have cheap paneling, bad trim work, old Christmas decorations, and tube tv.. perfect! Food is amazing and you get choice of soup and a spring roll. I go here often for lunch..started ordering down the menu but ever since I tried peanut curry.. I'm stuck.. can't order anything else. So the last 500 times I've been there that's all I've ordered.. I travel a lot eat at a lot of Thai places.. lucky to have this place close to my work.

I know many people always do five stars, but when I do five stars, I mean five stars. I am a really judgy person, but their food and service is high quality. My family has been going there for over a decade and it's our main food option when we go out. Their food is phenomenal. We recommend pad Thai noodles, gangai/pad pad, and egg fried rice. The people are so nice, they know us and we know them. When we go they basically already know what we are going to order lol.
