I LOVE THIS PLACE. BEST DONUTS IN TOWN!!! I recently found this donut shop, having spotted them on Instagram. Not knowing that I had been passing them by for 15 years, just a mile from my home. I guess better late, than never. Anywho...my family and I have found our new best friend. What a great shop, and THE best donuts. So fresh, great flavors, open early, great service. I visited this am because of a donut I saw online, only to find out it was for their Royal Oak location. I explained that it had gotten me out if my pj's, but I would find something just as good. The gentleman working there said "If there's a donut that got you out of your pj's we gotta make it". How awesome is that. Such great service. Love, love, love them. They have been in business since 1985 and trust me when I tell it is for all the right reasons!!!! Me and my Father have their coffee and donuts pretty much every day. We both agree their coffee is great a lot better than the popular chains around, and theirs donuts we love them the children love them and oh I challenge you to only be able to eat just one! They are so delicious Dad swears by their moon rocks I have so many favorites but I’ll list my top five Red Velvet, Birthday Cake, Cider Mill, Cruller, and Chocolate Dip Custard Filled Cruller. The environment from both staff and regular customers is also lovely. Such a welcoming and friendly easygoing crowd of people who are open and ready for few group and or one on one conversations. I have been going to the Warren location my entire life. They have always been the only place I would buy doughnuts from. The teachers I work for love when I bring them in. I have not been there for a few months since they changed their filling in the doughnuts, so I called for the price of a dozen doughnuts because I was going to buy 3 dozen for my teachers. From the moment the new owner Lauren answered the phone she came off with an attitude and was very rude. I asked for the price because I wanted to get some for my teachers next week and Lauren acted like I asked for dozens of free doughnuts. I never even asked for a discount and never have any time I bought for my teachers. Sad to see this is their new standard of...
