Detroit Seafood Spot — Restaurant in Warren

My first experience was great! The waitress/cashier was friendly and very helpful in assisting in customizing a seafood boil special. Decided to get food yesterday, and I was thoroughly turned off and left empty-handed. I called in to see if the special that I'd gotten before was available or if I could customize to that again and was greeted with such a rude/rushed tone that I didn't want to spend a penny yesterday because I didn't want to be disregarded and rushed where I was spending my money. I asked if the advertised special (repeated which I was speaking of b/c they seem to change daily) was customizable. I was told there was no lobster w/a pause, so I asked for clarification on if there was something in its place or not available anymore from today's post? There was nothing in it's place.

I proceeded to ask, so do I need to just build a boil? He stated, in a rushed tone there are plenty of specials on the site would I like to view and give a call back? I was immediately and inadvertently placed on hold and had to ask if I was being spoken to, with the response; is that all that you had for me? I just said yes, thank you, and hung up. I was so turned off by the impatience and assistance and didn't feel like being bothered with any more of it that I just drove back to the other side of town. I traveled quite a ways to patronize but not for bad service. The specials were not as easily customizable as if I'd received assistance in the restaurant or over the phone, that was the purpose of calling (For assistance). I'm not sure that I'll ever patronize again, but I never will with horrible service where I'm spending my money. I shouldn't feel like I'm bothering you while trying to patronize your establishment. First visit, I will say the customer service was amazing, but there was a few things with my order. I ordered the triple cheese and shrimp stuffed potato ( cut up potatoes, not actually stuffed) and a shot of vodka. The seasoning was very good, the potatoes were not really soft and the cheese was very soupy ( poured a lot of it out)and full of grease. I did ask the young lady that took my order about the$5.00 shots, in which she said it ended at a certain time, yet she told me she had 3 different ones that she could do for 5.00. I did choose one. I was overcharged and didn’t realize it until I got home. I did call but there was no answer, tried today still no answer. In the menu that I was provided the potato was$ 16.99, the shot was told to me $ 5.00 - well looking at my receipt I was charged $29.75 including tax. My receipt: 17.67 for the potato, $ 10.40 for the vodka shot sales tax $1.68, I will try and call again.

Update: In fairness I wanted to update with a follow up, I did speak with the manager King and he explained that there are signs that notify the customer of the 4% fee when using a credit card, something that I failed to see or question, also that the systems automatically charge the regular price with the liquor after happy hour. This rice is uncooked I called the place the next day telling them that they said they give people 1 day old rices u can tell when rice was not fully cooked and when it’s 1 day old ts is nasty asf I would never in my mf life spend any money on this ever again. The Seafood they Barley put any sauce on it I am disgusted ! Honestly. &’ they said I have to order online if I want fresh rice like what ? How does that even sound are yall giving people old food ? NASTY ! I hate this place and I’m never coming here again ! I called in and asked how much it was gonna be for the boil n stuff yall told me come in because it wouldn’t take that long nowhere on yall website does it say that the rice is from a day before or anything like that I came in and waited for the food so how did I order off an old site ? I’m not here to confuse anybody I went in ordered my food and left out yall gave me 1 day old rice it was never ordered before had so what ?
