BUYER BEWARE!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!! Unlike the other reviews I have photo proof. I paid $300+ for a stove that they knew was broken. The came out an claimed to have put a new part of the stove. Now, low and behold, the same exact issue has happened again and the manager's excuse is that this part goes out "often" depending on the use. Which would sound like they're intentionally buying less than satisfactory parts to save money. Even after explaining the i barely have used the unti, he saud that, "it didnt matter" and after attempting to negotiate a repair price with him, he's determined to charge $120, which is nearly half the cost of the stove itself, to fix an existing problem on something that they sound but DID NOT DISCLOSE. When i asked for proof that the part was new or where the part was ordered from so i could follow up with the people who sold it, i was given indirect, run around answers. I will be taking further legal action because little do the manager realize is I have the time. Then, I will be contacting ALL necessary government entities to make sure that proper business and disclosures are being exercised. You never who you're dealing with, and they're soon about to find out. On top of this problem, 3 out of 4 burners does NOT burn properly which allows for the leak of carbon monoxide and gas into the home. They WILL SELL YOU VERY POOR QUALITY AND BROKEN ITEMS AND WILL REFUSE TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY. I will also be considering starting a class action lawsuit for other affected customers of the slum shop. This review will be posted everywhere along with the pics of your product with your writing on your broken appliance. I really hope that little $20 that you didn't want to let go of was worth you business's reputation and hopefully your job once I find a way to contact the owner. Because NOBODY would pass up $100 for $20 extra. ONLY a complete...

Read moreI purchased a refrigerator from A OK Appliances for $650, and unfortunately, it turned into one of the worst buying experiences I’ve had. Within the first 60 days, the fridge failed not once, but twice—each time resulting in the loss of a fully stocked refrigerator’s worth of groceries, totaling over $400.
When I reached out to the store, I was told I was just outside their warranty period and was quoted $60 for a technician to come out, plus another $60 toward any potential repairs. That felt unfair given how new the appliance was. After some back and forth, they agreed to send someone out and only charge me for the part.
The technician arrived, spent maybe five minutes diagnosing the issue, and determined it needed a new motherboard—just the part alone cost $450, nearly the original price of the fridge. The store offered me 50% off another unit, but after what I went through, I wasn’t comfortable spending more money and risking another failure.
My family went a full week without a refrigerator, and we lost the contents of two fully stocked fridges because of these repeated breakdowns. Rather than offering a meaningful resolution, I was constantly reminded that I was technically out of warranty and made to feel like I should be grateful for a discount on a replacement.
To top it off, the person I spoke with at the store said he would post our text exchange publicly if I left a review—something I fully expect, in an effort to paint me as just another difficult customer.
What’s most disappointing is that I’ve bought from this store before—a washer and dryer—with no issues, even receiving service after the warranty period. I used to speak highly of A OK and recommended them to family. Now I feel completely let down. I’m out $650, lost hundreds more in food, and walked away with no accountability or real support from...
