I didn’t look at my phone until 5:30 expecting it to be 30 minutes. Went down at 5:31 and the driver left I called the driver and received the voicemail I called the hungry howies location at 5:36 Russel stated he will call the driver and have the driver turn around Waited until 6 pm to call Russel answered and informed me his driver had 4 other deliveries to do. I asked if the pizza is going to be cold by the time it had gotten to me. He had informed me more than once, that they have had trouble at the location I informed him that a location does not define a customer The driver told him he waited 13 minutes. I told him I have the times in my phone recorded and that it was not 13 minutes that he had waited. I told him I have records of the time and the driver did not wait 10 minutes. Then he proceeds to tell me he is not going to think that his driver is a liar. Then he starts saying that he would not have time to get the food to me and all they can do is refund my money. I did not want the money I wanted my pizza. Russell said that I can pick up my food or get a refund I informed him I am at work and that is why I called. He stated well they are working also and too busy to bring me the pizza.
I asked for corporate number and he said that there is no corporate number So I don't get dinner and I get to upload the pic of the info from the drivers calls!! Guess what!!! Your driver is a liar!!!! By the way, you as an employee or what ever you are? You are horrible!! Who sides with someone based on word of mouth? Read moreIf I could give 0 stars I would. Sunday evening my husband and I ordered a large pizza/breadsticks/salad. Within 45 mins after eating a couple of slices of pizza my husband became very sick. Spent most of his night by the toilet. I ate a slice and by the next morning I myself was in the bathroom for most of the morning/day (neither of us had eaten yet sunday so the food we ordered was all we had eaten). I called the location, and was told they couldn't issue a refund, but they would credit my account to put towards my next order. I refused getting more food from a place that has my husband and I sick. That's unacceptable. As a manager in the food industry myself, I can't believe they wouldn't refund for bad food. I understand not accepting guilt, because let's face it that's setting yourself up for a lawsuit. You don't mess with people and food, and you certainly try everything to make it right. We called back within 6minutes of placing the order because we requested a breakdown of the pricing. We understand that it may have been frustrating to the employee that was helping us however she refused to cancel our order when we finally requested that we go online instead to make sure we were ordering correctly and not being overcharged. The employee was exceptionally rude and also told us it would be 30minutes for our food and still refused to cancel it. We had a menu that was 2-3 weeks old and she told us she was charging us according to the “new menu” current pricing. We instead placed an order at another location nearby online and got our food within 15minutes.
